Had a haircut with Scoots after a kind of bummer haircut at this place before. They fixed me up so well and I feel amazing and so gender-affirmed with the haircut! Can’t say enough good things about this place being a safe space for queer people and awesome haircuts. My wife and I love going here!

One of a kind, queer and alternative styles abound, gender confirming cuts and amazing stylists. I’ve been coming here for at least ten years and love every experience. I don’t have to have awkward conversations and actually feel at home. And the hair cuts and style and color are always awesome.

Had a fabulous experience here. Sierra is incredibly meticulous and had lots of great idea for cut and color. She spent hours to get it right and I never felt rushed. She clearly loves her work. Glad to have found my new stylist, will definitely be doing back.

Jordan L'Amour is the best person to cut my hair in the bay area. Since I met her 5 years ago, i just don't bother with anyone else. She gets my hair and what I want. She always makes me feel renewed.

I enjoy this hair salon. I hate the macho vibes of barbershops and always feel weird in a regular spa/salon. This place is welcoming and I liked my haircut! Highly recommend to fellow trans/queers/humans. I also appreciate how they say short/long cut vs using binary terms

This place is hard to write a review for because each stylist is different and some people stay and others go. At one point this was my go to place and I got some of the best haircuts of my life. Recently it seems to have gone down hill. My last haircut was so bad that I will not be coming back again under any circumstances. The stylist had no idea how to cut my hair. Unless you know your stylist, I recommend going just about anywhere else because this place is also expensive. If you throw down $20 and get a bad haircut, it's really a case of you get what you pay for. But if you throw down $50-$70 for a haircut that is so bad that it takes months to regrow and the whole time you feel self conscious and uncomfortable... well, let's just say it feels bad enough that you feel obligated to write a review.

This salon doesn’t respect stylists. They cancelled appointments without first telling their stylist that they were.Very unprofessional for you to cancel hair appts with 3 days notice without consulting the stylist. Warning to all those who might want to book here they don’t respect their stylists and cancel appointments on them without consulting the stylists.
