As a visitor to the Bay Area I was fortunate to find Ella at Claremont Hair Salon. As a mature aged traveller I have many hairdressers to compare against and I can honestly say Ella has a fantastic technique and one of the best I have encountered. Reasonably priced and good availability at short notice, but I will book in future. Thanks.

Ella has cut my hair for over 15 years. Best stylist I've ever worked with. I moved to LA and came back for haircuts. I moved to Toronto and came back for haircuts. I moved to DC and came back for haircuts. Excellent technique and artistic judgment. I can often say "do what you think looks good, you're the artist!" and I'm never disappointed. You won't be either. I guarantee it!

I've been going to Ella for my hair cut and styling for a couple of years now and she always does a fantastic job. She is easy to schedule with via text. And for the past year I've added coloring of my hair and she helped choose a very natural look and does a great job with this every other month. Definitely recommend her!

Ella is the best! I put all my trust in her and asked her to cut all my hair off, and I couldn't be happier with it! She even showed me the right techniques to maintain it and trim some pieces myself. She's awesome!

Update, Oct. 2020: So happy I was able to return to Ella at Claremont Hair Salon. Got my roots touched up and my hair trimmed as well as an oil treatment. I felt safe in her salon as it was just me and her; both of us in masks, the air filter blowing, and her working in gloves. She even put on a face shield when she washed my hair. Such great care during COVID-19 pandemic!
