I did a Deep wash and a loc retwist…. Let me tell you… the ambiance and just her vybe and professionalism was on point .. I loved every moment of that visit .. I love my hair … I felt confident .. I will definitely visit again!!

Had such an amazing experience at blessed with beauty. This was my first time in a salon in a long time and Lucy was amazing. I got a virgin relaxer and a trim. I have really course 4c hair and Lucy was able to get my hair relaxed and keep my hair in a healthy state. Book with her, she’s great !

I’m so glad I came across Lucy when I was trying to get my extensions taken out. She was incredible and got me in for a next day appt. She also educated me on the type of hair I had in and basically I realized the salon who did it wasn’t very honest or caring. I will be getting new hair in soon and she will definitely be the one doing it. She’s so funny and kind and great at what she does. Also very fair prices for amazing work. Highly recommend!!!!!!

I got a set of cluster lashes & they came out fabulous :-). I loved that they lasted without fallout like other lash salons I’ve been to. I highly recommend getting your lashes done at Blessed by Beauty. Amazing service by Lucy!

made a 4 pm appointment for January 26th with Lucy, which I could have made. Same-day appointment. She texted to let me know she would be unable to do 4 pm but could do 6 pm. I thought it would be a better time for me and initially agreed; however, one of my friends reminded me I already had plans with him that night. And so I let Lucy know I couldn't make the time she needed me to be there. I tried to reschedule for Sunday and Monday. She couldn't accommodate me. I was going away on Wednesday, January 31st, for a week-long trip for an organization I volunteer with, and I let her know. She said I may schedule a new appointment with her when I get back, or I may cancel my time with my friend and go to the salon for her rescheduled 6 pm time. I didn’t want to let my friend feel like I didn’t care, so I told Lucy I would reschedule when I got back from my trip. I couldn't reschedule an appointment with her immediately upon arrival from the trip because I am a student and spent a week volunteering. I needed to catch up on my work, and I already told her I would be away. I thought that since she knew I would be away, she would be expecting me to reschedule an appointment with her in the upcoming weeks. I had another week-long trip in February, volunteering with the same organization. On Tuesday, February 26th, when I got back, I asked Lucy if I could come in for an appointment on Saturday. She didn’t respond. On Friday, March 1st, I followed up and asked for my appointment. She first said she could do it but then said she couldn't because she was moving. So she couldn't couldn’t accommodate me. So, I was never able to get my appointment with her, and it was not clear whether I would ever get an appointment with her. I asked for my deposit back because our schedules seemed like they would never align. And I asked for my deposit back because why not ask? I am a student, and because of that, money is important. And it's not like I didn't try to book an appointment with her before doing so. She’s human and a business person; she can and did say no. But I am also human and allowed to not be OK with it, especially because I kept asking for a new appointment; she was aware of my circumstances, and she was the reason why my appointment needed to change initially. She was just nasty. You must need the money. It was January, and now it’s March. And I was like, yeah, I do need the money or my hair done. I am a student. But acknowledge it was the very end of January when I asked and it was the very end of February when I followed up. She ignored me until the very first day of March. It's not like this was from January 1st to March 31st, which would be completely unreasonable. And I get that. And again, she knew I was going away. But it is what it is. Writing the entire story to give everyone a full picture because you could very well agree with her, and I don't want to tarnish her business if you do agree with her. But for me, I didn't like what happened. Especially because I was transparent with her. Adding this info after her response: In Lucy's response she says I told her I was going on a dinner date, but I never told her I was going on a dinner date. The reason why I never told her I was going on a dinner date is because I didn't go out to dinner and I wasn't on a date. I went out with one of my guy friends who happens to be gay and we went to an art gallery. An artist was debuting his collection. And as I said, I had forgotted we were going out until he said something. That is definitely a collateral matter which doesn't beg to be argued. I only mention it because I find it strange that she would make that information up. I wonder what other things she makes up to rationalize not giving people their money back and for being rude.

Lucy was great! I love my hair more than ever now. Very knowledgeable and great at what she does. Highly recommend her and will be going back for more services.
