Started my journey in 2019, started coming here in 2020 & I can't tell you how much I Love this shop especially Derrika (Queen of Locs) who does my hair. My Locs have flourish while being her client & in her care, a Good Hearted Woman with a Great Spirit who cares not only about your hair but you as well. Trust when I say that she knows what she is doing & simply is The Best. The atmosphere is a whole vibe & all of the Ladies on her team are Amazing & Friendly especially Asia who has done my hair as well. If you want to be treated right & your Locs treated with Love & Care then this is the place to be. 5yrs going strong with Derrika & don't see myself going to anyone else😍🥰

After two disappointing visits with different stylists at this salon, I wouldn't recommend it to others. My first visit involved the stylist roughly combing through my dry hair, without bothering to add any product to reduce breakage and improve handling. I got a simple style of medium two strand twists and was not impressed with the end result for $60. I spoke with the owner about my experience--who seemed sympathetic-- so I decided to try again with a different stylist. With the next visit, my stylist arrived over twenty minutes late, and I still ended up waiting about 10 minutes more for her to get everything set up. I understand that they had just moved to a new location, but she didn't seem like it was much concern to her that she started on my hair about 30 minutes late. They have a policy where they charge customers a fee for being more than 15 minutes late, yet she arrived very late and didn't offer any discounts for her tardiness. It's a poor representation of the business and shows a lack of professionalism. The one thing the stylists do well is offer hair care advice and recommend products to maintain good hair health. As for styling, my experience is that it was mediocre at best. If you value your time and want good value for your money, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Kiundria was nothing short of amazing to me. This was my first visit and will definitely not be my last. I think I have finally found my home salon. She really cares for the health of your tresses. Before she trimmed, she walked me through the process and showed me what she was going to cut and why. She was very knowledgeable about anything I asked. I have already referred her to someone else! (: 10/10

I was unsure of what to expect from this place but I enjoyed my visit. Kiundria was my stylist and she did a voluminous silk press on my hair along with a stylish cut. The salon is very cute, super trendy and bright. I didn’t feel the most welcome there, however. I didn’t expect or desire an entire welcoming committee but I felt awkward in the salon, almost as if I didn’t belong. The prices are fair and the location is convenient; my hair turned out great and I would recommend.

I've been here 3 times. Very nice space (Lenox Village location and the new Donelson Pike location), and my style always comes out great. The only complaint I have is the manner in which the stylists educate the clients about their hair. If my hair is dry/damaged/I need specific treatments, it's absolutely fine to tell me that, that's part of what you do. But be careful how you speak to people. I had one young lady in particular that had a nasty attitude and acted like she was being put out to do my hair. You never know why someone's hair is in the condition it's in, and it's often times a sensitive subject. I haven't been back in quite some time, but I may try again in the future.

Kiundria did an excellent work on my head, perfect wash and scrub, I suffer from itchy scalp it was a great massage! & the feeling of sincerity and love for what a person does that penetrate throughout your body I felt that aura about her. She didn’t ask too many questions just because it was quiet, she asked quality questions and she checked on me at the right times while I sat under the dryer that really matters to me. She twisted my hair perfectly and I definitely walked out feeling pretty. Excellent Salon! I’ve been to salons where everyone is loud talking there’s no serenity at all, and no one checks on you until they think you’re dry. This salon is perfect I prefer to go to a salon where there’s peace not all that loud hard rap and cursing videos playing in the background. I definitely look for a salon where I can get serenity and escape from the hustle and bustle of life and to walk out feeling pretty. This Salon is that plus more! Its a Blessing!

Let’s see, where do I start? I’m very big on energy and the salon’s energy was welcoming. The salon is beautiful and the staff were very friendly and professional. Tierenney interlocked my hair and she did a wonderful job! She explained the process, she educated me on my hair and how to care for my locs. She was very patient and answered all of my questions. I love everything about her, just a beautiful spirit. This was not my first time at the salon, my first two appointments were with Romika and she was also very pleasant and professional when she provided services. Thank you so much ladies!!!!
