I am so grateful to have found Salon Haven! The atmosphere is warm & welcoming with lots of natural light, smiling faces, and it was so clean; which is a must for me! It’s been YEARS since I’ve had a hair cut that I absolutely loved. Having been a cosmetologist myself, I can be very meticulous. My stylist Ashley did a PHENOMENAL job! This is by far the BEST haircut I’ve ever had. The entire experience was so luxurious & relaxing. She is such a sweetheart, I felt so comfortable sharing feedback with her; we worked together to find areas where I wanted something specific and she would perfect it! Ashley is definitely passionate about what she does and her work speaks for itself. I truly had such a wonderful experience and I feel blessed to have found a stylist I can trust. 🫶🏼

I found this place online and saw the amazing reviews on it. Decided to give it a try, I booked a hair cut for my grandmother and highlights for me, went in and they took my grandma, they sat me down and my hair stylist, Ashley Nicole came by and asked me questions about my hair, what I use on it, any heat and so on. Showed her a photo of my goal for my hair and she discussed with me that what I booked wasn’t for that, and I agree my request was hard to describe If I didn’t show a photo, she told me that if she tried to do it now it was going to be rushed and she didn’t want to ruin my hair, so she requested for the next day which she had available the whole day. Never had I had a hair stylist first TALK to me about my hair and actually care for my hair and their work. Ashely was very determined to do a good job and even told me recommends for my hair to not leave it dry, plus a bonus she gave me facts about hair and how the hair handles bleach, which I found very informational. Anyways the day I got my service it did take a bit over 6 hours, but those 6 hours everyone in that whole establishment was so nice and so very welcoming, they accommodated both me and my boyfriend who was waiting. Ashley also took so much pride in her work and took her time to perfectly get what I wanted. Whole time she was very kind and very sweet to me, I’m very anti social and I wish I could have talked to her more but i felt very safe in her presence even if we didn’t talk, didn’t feel awkward like i usually do at salons. The whole time Ashely kept telling me her process and her next steps and telling me prices of each thing so I could know. Whole point is this place is very amazing and very welcoming to new clients. I’ll definitely be coming back! I recommend honestly everyone there.

We booked a full highlight service for my daughter with Anastasia. Unfortunately, she did not lift the hair properly, and it turned orange, especially her roots. We were given several explanations blaming my daughter’s hair, even though she has had highlights before and her hair has always lifted successfully. The salon owner, Ashley, later invited us back to have the hair corrected. Another professional hairdresser at the salon, Mia, confirmed that my daughter’s hair was in fact liftable and that the application had been done incorrectly. She attempted to correct most of the orange tones, but not all of the damage could be fixed. I am sharing this experience to help others make an informed decision. I have gone to Salon Haven for Homecoming, Prom, and Senior Photo hair and makeup in 2022. My stylist was Sami Zmani, and she was absolutely incredible. She was able to make my inspiration photos come to life, and knew exactly how to adjust the style to be exactly what I wanted. She is one-in-a-million stylist that gives you what you want even when you don’t know what you want. She always exceeds my expectations and is diligent in making sure you love your hair and makeup before you leave the salon. I recently had a haircut with her as well, and she once again, did an incredible job. Finally, all of the stylists and receptionists were so welcoming, and I would recommend Salon Haven to anyone I meet!

This was my first time at a salon in my whole life. I have medium curly hair as a man and I have normally settled for large haircut business chains versus a local salon due to time and ease, but I have been doing it wrong. My experience here was amazing and the owner Ashley was a big reason for that. Not only did I feel heard but very much understood as well and the hair cut reflects that. I had a reference photo which was used, but she let me know my hair texture and curls were a tad different so she made adjustments to enhance the cut for my hair and not the picture itself. It came out amazing and probably the best haircut I’ve had. Salon Haven has earned my business and I would recommend any men who have longer hair not to settle and get a professional hair cut here!

I had the BEST experience at Salon Haven with Emily Boyd. I came in for a full highlight and left absolutely loving my hair. Emily really listened to what I wanted and gave me the perfect blend of brightness and dimension—exactly what I envisioned (if not better!). The whole atmosphere was welcoming, professional, and relaxing. You can tell they truly care about their clients and take pride in their work. I’m so happy with the results and already looking forward to my next appointment. Highly recommend! 🩷✨💇🏼‍♀️

My New Forever Salon Quick back story: I had been going to a different Salon in Peoria, IL and let’s just say, the last time I went, things didn’t go as planned. I left incredibly unhappy with my hair. I went from dark to blonde and it did not at all, turn out the way I had hoped. While I understood that going from dark to blonde was going to be tough, my previous stylist didn’t make any suggestions or talk me through the process. So essentially, I left out with a color that I had 0 confidence in, as well as a mock cut of what I asked that in no way was the cut I wanted. Fast forward and decided to do my research to find a salon near Oswego, IL, which is where I reside now. I stumbled upon Salon Haven and booked a consultation with Vanessa Lauchuga. Needless to say, prior to my consultation, I had lost a lot of trust in stylists as my hair is very sacred to me. As soon as I walked into Salon Haven, I was immediately welcomed with a warm hospitality and incredible energy. They offered me a beverage while I waited and everyone getting their hair done looked STUNNING! Vanessa welcomed me with a sense of friendliness and also confidence, which was a great sign! The consultation took 10 min and within that time, I was already SO excited for what Vanessa and I talked about bringing to life! Once appointment time came, Vanessa just completely floored me. She took such great care of my hair and consistently asked for my feedback and if there were any changes I wanted made to ensure that I walked out the door happy, confident, fresh and renewed. She is a stylist that truly cares about her clients and not just the monetary gain. My hair has never felt and looked so beautiful and I’m so thankful for her and Salon Haven. Needless to say, this is the only salon that I will be going to moving forward, with Vanessa being my staple stylist. Although I will say, not matter which stylist you go either, I am very confident that any of these ladies will have you feeling like a runway model and renewed every single visit. SO excited to have found my Salon Haven! I can’t wait to be back! If you’re trying to find a salon with stylist that know what they’re doing AND know how to style all types of hair textures, I highly encourage you to give this place a try.❤️
