I've been going to Jaklyn for years and I'm loving this new salon space. It's like no other salon I've been to in Memphis. The salon itself is aesthetically pleasing with good vibes, smells, and decor. Jaklyn is professional and makes great conversation during service. And of course, she knows what she is doing when it comes to hair. She communicates each step and which products she's using and has always given me the exact styles I requested. 💯

Best haircut I’ve ever had. Jaklyn is a great listener and is creative with haircut ideas based on what you want and your head shape. She’s great with beards too!

Jaklyn is the best hairstylist. I love her personality and skill. I could never see anyone else for my haircuts and color because she is truly a gem. The atmosphere of the salon is unlike any other, with a remarkable level of intentionality and an attractive aesthetic throughout.

Been getting a cut from Jaklyn for almost a decade now and now that Bower is fully operational, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Anyone looking for a professional, reasonably priced high end stylist, look no further than Bower! The attention to detail and care provided for each visit and each client is unmatched. Reviews left by H Hart do not reflect the reality and I'd bet money that the account is a malicious bot or individual who has never stepped foot in Bower. I cannot believe how bad this experience was. I can’t to get my hair done because I was struggling with balding spots due to a condition and was going to a wedding. It’s always nerve racking for me now to go to public events like that when it’s all dress up and such. I trusted this salon and yet, it was the most horrific experience. The station was filthy. Someone else hair was still stuck to the seat and some was sprinkled on the counter. When I pointed this out, i was yelled at having to listen to how hard they try to keep things clean. But it was not clean! And the cut I got only highlighted my worst fears. It felt like they did it in purpose because I pointed out the hair in the chair. It felt mean-spirited in ways I could not describe. I will never go again to Bower Hair.

Bower Hair Parlor is the best hair experience in Memphis hands down. My girl, Jaklyn, is not only the most intelligent but also professional stylist in the metro area.
