This was my first visit to The Parlor. I’m new to Vegas and was looking for an Aveda salon after having great experiences in Texas. I requested a caramel-honey balayage and a haircut, and the result was even better than I hoped for! My stylist, Odalys, was incredibly friendly and did a fantastic job. I’ll definitely be sticking with this place! (Previous color included for reference)
I visited Parlor Salon - Sahara location for full highlights with Ms. Turner. She was sweet and talked me through the process. She seemed knowledgeable about what would work best. She did show me a picture of the look she had in mind and explained that the toner would help pull everything together, even though the color did look lighter than I expected at first. The salon itself is really nice—clean, organized, and welcoming. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and made the experience pleasant. That said, I was a bit disappointed with how my hair turned out. The highlights are lighter than I had hoped, and in certain lighting, I’m seeing an orange tint that I don’t love. Despite getting a bonding treatment, my hair feels a lot drier and more tangled than usual. It’s also breaking more and whatever product was used left it feeling heavy and greasy. The styling at the end also didn’t quite give me that "salon-fresh" look I was expecting. I might need to go back to tone down the color and treat my hair a bit to get it back to feeling healthy. While the overall experience was nice, I was not satisfied with the final result. __________ UPDATE: I’ve always gone to the Centennial Hills location of Parlor Salon and have had great experiences there. After my recent visit to the Sahara location left me a bit disappointed, I went back to the Centennial Hills team to fix it—and as always, they absolutely turned things around. Bailey is truly the best! She understood exactly what I was going for and made my highlights look just how I had envisioned from the beginning. She also did a mask treatment that left my hair feeling so much softer and healthier. The styling was gorgeous and on-point too! They corrected everything at no cost, which I really appreciated. My hair looks amazing now, and I’m very satisfied. I’ll definitely keep going to the Centennial Hills location—they’re consistently great and always make sure you leave happy.
First time here, and the scalp massage was amazing! The blow out was not the best at all it was more like a blow dry. I have 2c - 3b hair and my roots looked like someone teased them 🤦🏽♀️ I asked to fix them and was offered hairspray.
I love my hairstylist, Ms. Turner. She is wonderful to talk to and she really knows her craft. She always has great tips and tricks for me. My haircuts come out always as expected. She always has great suggestions for hair colors. Ms. Turner is always honest with you if she thinks a certain hairstyle won’t work. I really value her opinion and expertise.
Nikki does an amazing job with my irregularly wavy hair. She is understanding when it comes to using my own products because of my allergies too, and is a lovely person to chat with during the service. Really appreciate her skill.
Best experience at a salon! Whitney is amazing and so attentive. She’s the best!
I have schedule hair appointments twice, 1 two years ago and another this month and both times they cancel on me on the same day. I have to head to Atlanta for an interview tomorrow and I noted that, this was very important. I have given up on the Parlor Salons, I went there due to Aveda products. So I quickly booked at Ulta so we will see how that goes.
