Today we visited Scalp Bar on Eastern Ave in Las Vegas, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. This unique wellness spot is dedicated to scalp health and deep relaxation, think of it as a facial for your scalp, but elevated into a full sensory ritual. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the front desk attendant and guided through a quick check-in process. We filled out a brief questionnaire about our hair and scalp concerns, preferences, and goals. We also got to choose an aromatherapy scent and an eye mask for the session, which added a personalized and spa-like touch. Our appointment was at 11:30, and right on time, our specialists came to get us. My specialist was Luz Molina, and she was incredible, kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely skilled. She immediately made me feel comfortable and explained each step of the treatment. We started with a scalp exam using an advanced imaging device that shows areas of dryness, buildup, irritation, or imbalance. It was fascinating to see and made the treatment feel truly customized. After that, we were led into one of their private treatment rooms. Each room is designed to be cozy and calming, with dim lighting, soft music, and a full body massage chair that begins melting away tension the moment you sit down. With my eye mask on and the scent I had selected diffusing through the room, Luz began the treatment with rosemary oil and a double cleanse using premium scalp care products. The cleanse was followed by a relaxing scalp ritual, slow, therapeutic movements that stimulate circulation, ease tension, and balance the scalp. Since I chose the hair-loss treatment, my service included Nutrafol products specifically formulated to support growth and density. One of my favorite parts was the Halo, a rainfall style water cascade used during the rinse. It turned what could have been a basic step into a dreamy, meditative moment. After the rinse, Luz applied Nutrafol’s targeted scalp serum to nourish the follicles and reduce shedding, followed by a simple blowout. She even finished my service with red-light therapy, which energizes follicles and supports healthy hair growth. They also offer several add on services if you want to upgrade your treatment. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the high quality service made this a truly exceptional experience. I absolutely loved my visit, and I’m already planning to make Scalp Bar a part of my monthly self-care routine. Highly recommend!

Wow! Seriously if you’re looking for an amazing scalp spa like treatment come here!!! Had an appointment with Sarah and she was amazing!!! I was 2 weeks postpartum and wanted to do a hair loss treatment to kinda help and prevent with that hair loss after having a baby. With my first child I lost a lot of hair. The whole treatment experience as amazing. Sarah makes you feel so comfortable. The back room where you do the treatment is so relaxing. You lay down on a massage chair that massages your whole body, legs and arms. I loved the whole experience so much I’m going to definitely come back once a month or every other month. I wasn’t pressured to buy anything but I even bought the Nutrafol hair serum. Thank you so much Sarah.

Today, I used a @GroupOn for @ScalpBar here in Las Vegas (8810 S Eastern Ave, Ste 200) When I walked in, there was a little bit of a line, but that’s fine. The problem is that there’s only 4 seats, and I was number 5. The staff was VERY quick to get clients back to the stylists, so I didn’t have to stand or wait too long. My stylist was Kate, who is a certified cosmetologist (I’m almost positive everyone working here is), but that means she’s been to school and certified by the state to practice cosmetology. She walked me through the client sheet to make sure I knew what I wanted. Warning about pictures: I have a massive buildup and dandruff problem, and the pictures will show it at the very end. She sectioned off my hair to use their little gizmo camera to see my scalp. It was gross, but I knew that coming in. I have extremely dry skin which means that I need moisture like a desert does. She placed some moisturizing pre-wash oil in my hair, let me smell some lavender (choices were lavender, citrus, or eucalyptus), then gave me a neck and shoulders massage. The pressure was perfect. We walked back to the wash room, and I laid down on the massage bed. The legs move up and squeeze your calves, while the arm-holes squeeze your hands and arms, all with the back massager going. Since it was the deluxe package, I got some under eye patches to reduce eye circles then the mask on top. She started with washing my hair, using warm-hot water. I enjoyed the temperature, but you can change it if needed. Since I was basically blindfolded with the mask, I can’t tell you everything she used or did in order. She cleaned my hair, scrubbed my scalp with (what felt like) a Wet brand brush , used the wire head scratcher thingy, massaged my head, more cleaning with a scalp scrub, rinse, more scrubbing with (what felt like) a wire bristle brush, more cleaning and rinsing, more head massages, another scrubbing, then a final clean, rinse, and moisturizer. She dried my hair and cleaned the bowl and tools she used, so I can’t tell verify that they sanitize between clients. Back to the front station, and she gave me a cute little hot tea cup, sugar stick, on a platter. It was adorable. She added more moisturizer oil, and warned me that I need to keep my scalp moist to prevent that gross buildup. She blowdried my hair, then used her camera to show me the before and after. I don’t think my head has been this clean since before birth. There was some redness, and she apologized for it, but it’s because scalp is less resilient to scrubbing, and she had to do more of it. My thoughts: it was a great way to start the new year. It wasn’t what I was expecting (I thought it’d be like 90-mins of head scratches), but it was worth it. The staff is nice, the private rooms were relaxing, and the service itself was unbeatable. A small warning for those who are tender-headed: you might have to speak up if it starts to hurt. Mostly because they have to really scrub your scalp to get it cleaned. If you’re unsure about it, get the Groupon, and try it out. 9/10 One star off because my scalp is sore, and I wasn’t expecting it to be when I went in. I understand WHY it itches and everything, but a warning would’ve been nice. #TrySomethingNew2Review #Groupon #ScalpBar

I signed up for a membership at Scalp Bar and left realizing this business is disorganized, poorly run, and has zero accountability. Nowhere in the membership details does it say you cannot use your membership on your first visit. That information was only retroactively invented after multiple billing errors, showing a complete lack of policies or communication. The front desk and on-site supervisor were cold, slow, unapologetic, and completely untrained in customer service. Pricing changed mid-service, a quoted hot tool price was challenged at checkout, and it took over 10 minutes with multiple staff members just to correct the POS. I had to catch an overcharge myself and was refunded $10—the only acknowledgment of their mistake. Their explanation that I was the "first membership" is not an excuse for unprepared, disorganized, and unapologetic staff. The stylist herself was nice and did her best although after the treatment, visible flakes remained, which is unacceptable for a "premium" scalp-focused business. Instead of taking responsibility, the supervisor turned around and said I was "not a fit" for their salon. That’s a blatant dismissal of legitimate complaints and a classic way to dodge accountability. This place prioritizes pushing extra "add one" fees and memberships over delivering consistent service, proper communication, or basic customer care. Friendly intentions from a stylist cannot compensate for weak leadership, sloppy execution, and misleading policies. Do not waste your time, money, or patience here.

I booked my session through ClassPass and prepaid so I expected to have a $0 balance at checkout. During the appointment, I agreed to add a scalp scrub for $10. However, at the end of the service, I was charged an additional $20 on top of that, bringing my total add-on to $30. When I asked about it, I was told it was because the original service price was $110. After reviewing my receipt later, I saw that I had been charged a $20 "Type 2–3 hair" fee. To be fair, ClassPass does mention that additional charges may apply for hair that requires extra time and attention. That part wasn’t necessarily the issue. The issue was that this was never clearly explained upfront by the receptionist. I would have appreciated transparency before the service began so I could make an informed decision. I also left a direct tip and was assured by the receptionist that it would go straight to Emily. Given the confusion at checkout, I genuinely hope she did receive it, as she absolutely deserved it. That said, Emily the hairstylist herself was wonderful. She was professional, skilled, and I loved the result. Because of the lack of clarity around pricing, I’m not sure I would return — but I do genuinely appreciate the stylist’s work.

What an absolutely incredible experience!! I have watched head spa videos on YouTube for years and was so excited to experience one in real life here in Vegas. The location is great and so easy to get to. The inside was BEAUTIFUL and clean and so relaxing. There was relaxing meditation-type music playing throughout the space which was lovely. Every staff member I met was so kind, but my stylist Alika was incredible. She was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to about my scalp needs. She didn’t pass any judgment when seeing the condition of my scalp and dandruff (what a relief!) and she had really good advice about some add-ons that would help me. She gave me a lovely head and neck massage, then we went into the private room for the spa! I understood there was a weight limit for the massage table, and I was just under the weight limit, so hoped it would be fine. I think now it’s maybe more about a size limit than actual weight, since it was a bit of a tight squeeze to get my arms in their massage spots. Alika helped me get in though (again, with ZERO judgment!) and it was so worth it. The massage table was just one excellent part of an absolutely incredible head spa. I was so glad I didn’t fall asleep because I wanted to enjoy every moment of the deluxe treatment. The scents were incredible, the tools felt miraculous, and Alika’s skill was unmatched. After the treatment we came back out to the main salon area and Alika and I talked about what style I wanted for my blow out. She was so skilled and I felt so fabulous after!! The whole process was just under two hours. It was SO worth the money and I plan to come back and visit any time I come to Vegas! Thank you Alika and Scalp Bar!!

Absolutely AMAZING 10/10! My wife suggested we take a morning to do this and I’m so glad we did. Everyone was so nice, the salon is spotless and so relaxing. No pressure sales tactics so you can actually enjoy yourself. Adding the massage beds made all the difference. I’m pretty sure I dozed off once or twice. Locals GO, traveling to Vegas take a break and go get pampered. We will definitely be back on our next trip through. Oh and couples they even have a couples room, such a bonus.
