Alora the woman you are🤩 came in for one thing ( didn’t have it in stock but it’s okay!) walked out with 4, she hooked me up, shade matched me perfectly as we chatted, gave me pointers on what brushes to wear with my new concealer/finishing powder, and best of all! Super sweet overall! May this place never let her go, she’s exactly what we need in today’s retail world💫🩵

Honestly just so dissatisfied everytime I leave the store. First my points were split on two separate accounts which I was not aware of for years, and then the lady tells me I have to contact customer support which I do. I’m on the phone for atleast an hour trying to have the lady understand what I need and after I get done nothing was fixed. Now today I go in to get my birthday gift because it sent me an email and told me in the app but when I tried to sign in it wouldn’t load the profile and wouldn’t let me reset my password. Clearly could see I was struggling and in a time crunch. I totally understand having to have things rang in properly but definitely not gonna hurt the store too bad to have ONE small birthday gift that was out of inventory definitely not worth me leaving upset and annoyed after spending YEARS and THOUSANDS of dollars here.

Kala is THE BEST! Turned me into an Ulta shopper for life! She was so knowledgeable, helpful and kind! Thank you again Kala!

Poor customer service. Store: Papermill Plaza Knoxville TN 37919 Friday 9/19/25, I visited this location for a specific foundation and offer. I was approached by an associate who asked if I needed assistance. I informed the associate that I was hoping to find a specific shade of a Fenty foundation that I had color matched on the website. I had the item on my phone screen and noticed in small font that the offer was ‘online only’ and was told by the associate, "no worries, they will price match up front". Great news.. I thought. I took the item to the front to complete the purchase. When I informed the cashier that one of the associates on the floor had informed me that the item would be price matched for the online offer price, I was taken aback by how rude of a response I received by not only one employee, but two. Each associate chimed in on the others’ comments while rudely telling me that they could not do that because of some special event that was ongoing that week. I did not want to cause anymore conflict, it was apparent that these employees were having a bad day and were not willing to provide the customer service that I was used to receiving from Ulta. I stood at the counter and proceeded to complete the purchase of my item on the website to receive the price I was told they would honor and handed the item to the employees so they would have it to fulfill the online order. One of the associates in a condescending tone said, "just so you know it can take like 15 minutes for those to come through online." I told them I could walk around the store and wait til it came through and check back in a few minutes. 15-20 minutes after submitting the online pickup order they said they had still not seen it come through. At this point I had been invested in this ordeal for nearly 45 minutes it seemed. I proceeded to leave the store after approaching the counter one last time at 1219pm and decided I would come back by the next day. At 1223pm, WITHIN FOUR MINUTES of leaving the store I received a notification that the item was ready for pickup. How ironic that as soon as these rude associates see me leave the store that my order is ~now~ available. For anyone who has worked in customer service/retail/sales, it is known that if an employee tells you a price or an offer match, this is to be offered to the customer. If the employee was providing information incorrectly to customers, it would be corrected for future reference but honored that particular time because it was stated so by an employee with utmost confidence.

This SPECIFIC ulta beauty salon is AMAZING!!! I've been having violet do my haircut for just about 3 years now! I won't let anyone else touch my hair! She's so sweet!

After having to tell a manager of a store completely unrelated to Ulta about a traumatic experience with customer service, I left shaken up just from reliving the trauma. I went to Ulta, thought, "I’m not in the right frame of mind to shop", but decided to push through. As I went through the store, 👏🏻 every 👏🏻 single 👏🏻 employee made sure to ask me if I was finding everything all right, gave me warm smiles, helped me find products I was looking for, went above and beyond and pointed out other options, and were so incredibly kind. Because of the kindness I received in Ulta, I was able to come out of the PTSD episode I was in and just be so grateful for every lovely soul that helped me and chatted with me. I made sure to tell them so personally, and we were able to share a really beautiful moment of human connection that is really missing in a lot of places these days. Not to mention, at every turn, as the employees were reorganizing or restocking, they all were getting along so well and having their own pleasant little conversations about life, while keeping an eye out for any customers who needed help. It’s sad to say that it’s rare to see people that work together enjoy each other’s company, let alone get along. And just seeing that blessed me. If you’re wanting not just quality products but exceptional service from people who genuinely have kind hearts, just stop by this Ulta. 🩷

Ladies on the floor were super helpful. I got some newer products and their stock was solid. Decent price point options for basics
