Shea did an absolute amazing cut. I have a cochlear implant and a hearing aid which she gad to work around. She listened to what I wanted and put her talent to work!! Shea gets a 10 ⭐️ :).

DJ is an amazing stylist so I go and get my haircuts and trims from him, it's affordable and he's really good. If he's not there there's a lot of other great stylists. The prices are fair and usually no wait.

Shea is the best! She’s been cutting my hair for 3 and a half years now and is always fun & friendly. She does a great fade every time.

First red flag I should have heeded, he made me feel bad about what I asked for. Kept making a huge deal about it... Like hair grows back dude. Eventually I got the sinking feeling he didn't know what he was doing and I just wanted to get the hell out of there. I'll have to go somewhere else to fix this mess. Friendly, talk alot to distract you from the fact that they can't do more than basics. Oh yeah, goes without saying he did not do what I asked for.

I started going to this salon about 1 year ago on a recommendation from my best friends. I've been to the Masters and a few other much pricier salons over the last 20 years since I moved to Huntsville, and I can honestly say that Cuts by Us has been a perfect match!! My stylist is D.J., and He's always given me exactly the cut and style I asked for. My hair is very thick, wavy, frizzy, and difficult to style without it looking like a giant frizz bomb, but D.J. had some excellent cut recommendations that entirely solved that problem. They sell hair products but don't pressure me into buying them, and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to get service.

I loved it here. The lady DENISE. Was awesome.. She took her time and explained everything about my hair that I needed to desperately kno,oh also she showed me lots of tricks to curl my hair for the newest hairstyles.. I was just a walk-in!!

I came into the salon in Huntsville, AL (Airport Road) on Saturday, October 19 at 10:15. All the chairs were full and 2 people were waiting in front of me. This was not an issue. When it became my time to have a service done, all the workers had left to break except for one stylist who asked if I wanted a haircut. I told her no that I wanted a shampoo detox. She said she would not be able to do it because she had someone coming in but one of the others could help me. She left me in the store area alone. I could hear the team discussion something but unable to make it out. When they returned, they were "discussing" who would take me, or pass me around. The older stylist said she didn't want to do it because she was hoping someone would come in. The other male stylist stated he had no idea what I was asking for and he didn't know how to do it. All of this conversation was being done in front of me and another customer. The male stylist stated, "so she wants to sit under a dryer, is that all". No one wanted to perform a simple service on me. I would have GLADLY paid dearly for the shampoo and tipped well, instead, I stood up and walked out after sitting there 30 minutes hearing who didn't want to perform a service and who had minimized my request . I was made to feel that I was not good enough to have a service done and just the embarrassment of another customer hearing the conversation. This undisciplined team need to work on professionalism and tact. If this is the best team you have working for you in a high-traffic area, your business is in trouble.
