Beauty Empire Plus on Westheimer

Came in today to get some products for my new hair journey. First impression very clean and everything is organized. Reyna helped me. She was super kind and patient and got me hooked up with good quality recommendations. I will be back!!

I stopped by Beauty Empire Plus and found everything I needed! Great selection, good prices, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Definitely my go-to beauty supply spot.

I drove all the way here from Pearland, found what I needed within a few minutes but the customer service at the end is what led to this review! There was me and two other women in the store. I was standing directly in front of the lady at the register, she was doing something on a calculator so I continued to check my phone. I look up, she’s still doing something..no acknowledgement just looks like she’s finishing something. Finally one of the other women come up and ask me if I’m in line so she can checkout and I said yes and moved over. The lady behind the register finally acknowledges me and says she thought I was just standing there texting so she didn’t know. First off, there’s 3 people in the store, why else would I be standing in front of you with stuff in my hand??? Even if you thought I was texting, to not acknowledge or speak to me to see if I needed help or what I was doing? Ridiculous!

This beauty supply store had all the items I needed. The associate from Nigeria was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make my shopping experience welcoming. I would recommend this store.

They treat you like a possible criminal as soon as you walk in the door. Black people are there target demographic so I don’t understand the treatment. Wouldn’t even let me hold the human hair as if they thought I was gonna run out with it, and when my dad and I tried to pay with my moms card they wouldn’t let me since the name on my ID and the name on the credit card didn’t match despite us having the SAME LAST NAME. They didn’t even offer to let me run it through since I also knew the PIN number. They also were uninterested in helping me when I initially asked for directions through the aisles and 100% believe that if I wasn’t black, they would have let me pay with my mom’s card. DO NOT COME HERE!!!

Never stepped into a place as rude and dismissive this place was. Not helpful and very snobbish Spoke to two guys and they just snapped at you. Left the same way I came in. For a new business, yall should do better

Fairly nice selection however they tape everything closed so you can’t open any item it to smell or anything. The makeup selection was kinda small but they have tons of wigs and braiding hair to choose from.
