I don't do appointments because I know I wouldn't be on time for it or wouldn't show up && so walk inns here is a plus... &for every walk inn I made for the past 6years had been a really great experience & the longest I've waited for a walk inn was 10min.. Mytan is the only woman I trust with my hair. She makes my A-Line Bob perfect all the time all under 15min. LOVE this place!!!

My Mom & I are regular customers here since Year '08. I then decided to bring My Teenage Niece here. We only trust the owner, Mytan with any service we request. We did try other places and liked it too, but we're more satisfied with the results Mytan would do. The prices can't be beat, she's honest & gives you an estimate on how much it would cost before she even begins your request. Sometimes she gets extremely busy, so it's best that you call her for appointment & she'll ask what service do you need, then will give you an estimate time. There are a two ladies who help her, but they mostly cut guys/children hair or they are more like an assistant.

These ladies are great they cut my hair fast and good. Even when I want something new they are very helpful with that and usually I end up liking it. I'm very bad at describing how I want it, but they get what I'm trying to say which is good. Also too the price is very reasonable.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a men's haircut. Anne did a very nice job with a fade and trim. All employees were very polite, the area was clean, and prices were very reasonable. Parking was limited at this location due to the number of businesses in a small area, but I was able to find one eventually.

Only place I go to cut my hair. They always give me exactly what I ask for and other then my bfs friend, I always come to my tans to cut my son's hair. They're so patience with us, especially when my son would scream his head off. They would give him lollipops and change the TV station to a cartoon for him to calm him a bit. Always gives my us both, the hair style we ask for. 👍👍

I had my hair cut by Fantastic Sams owner at McCully since I came back to Hawaii in 1995, starting at a little barber shop in Kapahuluu. Things change and I needed to find another barber. My girlfriend recommended Nancy at Mytan in Waiakamilo shopping center and I am VERY pleased with her work. Excellent! I believe she is Vietnamese, a lady with a pleasant manner and I highly recommend her if you are looking for a new hair stylist/barber.
