Found this place from a Reddit post. The vibe checks out. The ladies here were so kind and smiley. Lola did my hair and she did phenomenal. She listened, she asked questions to be sure she cut my hair exactly how I wanted. I have had many bad hair cuts so I was nervous. She helped curb my fears. We definitely will be back!
Went in for a blonding treatment. I left with my scalp on fire. The stylist was super nice until she started really doing my hair. She was very rough with my hair even after I told her I was tender headed. Usually when you get your hair washed in cold water that would bring relief but it didn't. My scalp stayed sore until the following monday. To top it off the stylist stated I had cuts on my neck/hairline and still proceeded to apply bleach to it first which set ny scalp/neck on fire. I didn't say anything since it wasn't a chemical burn and I knew it stop, which It did until she applied more to the area. When it came to the cutting process. She was just cutting to cut. After a few days it looks uneven and like I cut it myself. When she was doing the layering she immediately cut my hair under my chin without asking where to cut. Then she asked, "this good". Wdym this good I cant say no and have it pop back on.... when I went it in was upfront on how much id want cut off and she cut off wayyyy too much. I've come to the conclusion that it was needed in some areas. The experience was did not make me want to come back. Love her but not the way she does things.
Haircut by Cat. Always a great experience! This salon has a warm, friendly vibe. A really cool atmosphere with super cool staff. I go to Cat, but I would let any stylist in the salon cut my hair. They are all extremely talented and so nice. ❤️
I had the best experience with Caroline. Such a sweet soul. I am by no means alternative but not super average either so I was nervous coming here after seeing the creative styles they do. I spent a lot of time looking at each stylists specialties and decided Caroline would align more with what I wanted! I had a very vague description but mostly knew I didn’t want the cut to accentuate certain features. She knew exactly what to do with the little bits of info I could decide on. She even told me how to style my hair to achieve the look I was going for. She told me she offers bang touch ups for a good price which I loved. She did not once make me feel like I needed to buy anything special, pressure me to book my next appt or anything. I appreciated the conversation we had while I was there. Such a genuine and smart person.
The staff were very friendly. My stylist was very detailed oriented and listened to all of my requests. I appreciated her going the extra mile to make my hair amazing and I will definitely be going back.
Best salon experience I've had yet since moving to the area! Yezli was an absolute darling! Highly recommend this place! I got a haircut and gloss to blend in with my natural blonde that I'm growing out.
TLDR: Great place for alternate hairstyles. Professional workers that will help you with your hairstyle and with styling tips afterwards. Went in for a shag/ layerd wolfcut by Ludo. She was courteous and asked me questions about styling and how I wanted my hair as well as effects that i wanted when styling. Included with the haircut was a styling option where she was able to curl my hair and taught me techniques to do to replicate that effect. Was very pleased with the results as other hairstylists have not been as receptive to suggestions on my hair. Also available is their Instagram where they show example cuts which is what i based mine off of. Did not go in for color/dye which is what my next review will be. Scheduling can be a bit of a hassle as there is not as much availability for each hairdresser so booking can be up to a month in advance.
