My hair had suffered so much breakage from color damage and from not knowing how to properly care for my natural hair. I honestly thought I would have to start my entire hair journey over again because I assumed it would need to be cut extremely short. But Brenda proved me wrong! She restored my hair without taking away all my length, and now it’s as bouncy and full of life as ever. I can truly say I’ve found my hairstylist—someone who genuinely cares about the health and growth of my beautiful strands. Our hair is so versatile and can be styled in so many amazing ways. Black hair and Black skin are absolutely beautiful! I’m beyond grateful to Brenda for saving my strands and setting me up for healthy new growth. Needed a break from my "kinky" hair styles, and contacted Brenda for a silk press. Last press was about four years ago; I couldn't believe how damaged my hair was, but Brenda did an excellent job. Very pleased with the outcome and hubby loves it. Will be seeing her again.

First time going to Brenda. I’m very particular about who I trust with my hair as I’m starting to lose a bit too much lately. Lol. Brenda was great! She asked me what I wanted out of todays hair goal and she laid out the treatment options and discussed their differences with me. I felt she was very knowledgeable and I was able to make a well informed decision and didn’t feel any pressure to choose one over the other. I will definitely go back to her. My hair is beautiful and feels so much healthier and shiny!

I was a little nervous as this was only the 2nd time that my 7 yr old had been to a salon. Brenda was instantly warm and made us feel very comfortable. My daughter has extremely thick natural hair and Brenda never once made it feel like a hassle to do. She thoroughly communicated every step and gave me great suggestions and feedback. I went to go see Brenda for a haircut after some interesting experiences at other salons. Brenda is knowledgeable, warm, friendly, professional, and very talented. Brenda took her time to assess my hair and was quickly able to understand what I wanted. She was efficient with her time and very attentive to detail to give me an amazing sleek precision-cut style bob. I will definitely have Brenda cut my hair again. If you are looking for a hair stylist, I highly recommend booking with Brenda!

Brenda did not listen to my instructions at all. I explained to her that shrinkage is a thing and that you cannot cut curly hair when it’s wet and expect it to be the same length dry. Completely ignoring my instructions, she cut my hair soaking wet. I asked for shoulder length and received an ear length bob. My mom is the one who received this haircut and it was hard seeing her come home so disappointed and in literal tears. If you advertise being able to cut curly hair, then you should know damn well how to listen and cut curly hair.

Best experience ever! I haven’t gotten my hair done by anyone in over two years. But from reviews, I decided to contact Brenda to do my hair! She did a wonderful balayage on me. Super friendly, and responds in a fast manner. She even did my hair on her day off because I was busy all week. This was super kind and sweet of her. I can’t thank her enough! Brenda is very easy to talk to. She asks about your hair and goes into depth about what you want. You can tell she knows a lot about what she’s doing and loves her job.
