Lynn is a wonderful stylist. I took my 15 year old son here to get a perm. Kids this age are very hard to please, however, when we left Lynn's studio he said it was the best day ever. He LOVES the waves and style she gave him. He showed her two pictures for reference and she nailed it! I wanted a perm as well but she advised against it because I have highlights in my hair and she did not want to damage my hair. She explained that I should let my highlights grow out more and then come back. Most hair stylist would have done the perm and taken my money. She is very honest and extremely knowledgeable. I did get a cut and she did a wonderful job. I was very happy with the results and will continue to come back to her. Her prices were well below the average prices in this area. I went in expecting to pay way more for the services we wanted and was actually shocked at what she charged. Needless to say I left a very large tip because she was worth more than what she charges. I HIGHLY recommend her for all your hair needs.

Lynn is absolutely amazing! She always gives me such a beautiful cut. I have so much hair (sorry!!) and she really takes her time with me when cutting gorgeous layers in my hair and framing my face with my bangs. The shampoo felt great too. Her prices are very affordable which adds the cherry on top. Lynn is the best and I’m happy I found her! I recommend. She offers color as well. I aim to get that service done eventually.

I've been going to jian for my hair for 4 years now he does such an exceptional job! He is so careful and takes his time never burn my hair and I've never experienced any hair loss after straightening and it stays for a long time until my hair grows or i cut my hair. You can’t find a better hair salon than Hair by Lynn in Northern Virginia. I have been getting the magic straight perm from Lynn for 7 years now, at least twice a year, plus countless hair cuts and hair coloring. Every single time, Lynn plays magic on my hair and something beautiful comes out! As someone who has gotten 30+ magic straight perms from various places, I can say this is THE place you want to go to if you are looking for a top quality perm! Also you will notice the prices are extremely fair compared to the quality of the skill and service. Also sharing pictures of my mom's most recent perms - she too is in love with how gorgeous the curls came out 🙂

I really enjoyed my service. I had very poofy and frizzy hair and after treatment my hair is straight and sleek! Highly recommend if you want magic straight perm. Prices were affordable and reasonable for the time and work they did on my hair. The hairstylists are very sweet and they are really good and professional. I will be back when I need to get my magic done again. Thank you again for my beautiful straight hair!

I had to get my bangs trimmed for a friend's birthday party last minute and called around several places, but none of them had availability. Hair By Lynn was open, however, and she did a great job! My bangs were exactly how I asked them to be, and the price was extremely reasonable ($6 for a bang trim. I had my bangs cut in Woodbridge several months ago and it cost me $12, so I'm very happy with the price). Lynn was also extremely nice, and the overall experience was a breeze!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. THEY DAMAGED MY HAIR COMPLETELY FROM A PERM. They over processed it and it is now fried. (See photo). Instead of apologizing and trying to make the situation better, the owner continued to argue with me and cussed at me in Korean. I will be filing a complaint through the Better Business Bureau and make sure to spread the word that this place is absolutely horrendous. DO NOT GO HERE!
