I normally love Ulta, and this location has an excellent selection, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I came in today with my boyfriend and we browsed for about an hour. Throughout the entire visit, I was repeatedly stared at and treated with obvious suspicion by multiple employees. Every 2–5 minutes, someone would approach me to ask if I "needed help," to the point where it became intrusive and uncomfortable rather than helpful. Two employees in particular hovered around me continuously, following me through the store and interrupting my shopping. One of them even interrupted me while I was on the phone, which I found extremely rude and inappropriate. To be very clear, I was not behaving in any way that would warrant being monitored or treated like a potential problem customer. I’ve had positive experiences at this location in the past, which makes today’s treatment even more jarring. What should have been a relaxed shopping trip instead felt accusatory and hostile. Customer service should never make someone feel unwelcome or profiled, and this experience has made me very hesitant to return to this location.

Natalie is an absolute ROCKSTAR!!! I went in asking for help with makeup and she has the steadiest hand and was able to show me all kinds of methods for achieving what I was HOPING to achieve! Plus - SO many pluses! She has an amazing sense of customer service... very kind... I hope they pay her enough!!!! She's WORTH IT!!!!!

I had a very disappointing experience at Ulta today with stylist Kylee. My appointment was scheduled for 3:00 PM, and I arrived before time. However, she insisted my appointment was at 2:30 PM, which I was never informed about. I did not make any changes to my booking, nor did I receive any communication from Ulta regarding a time change. Kylee was rude and dismissive, and refused to color my hair even though I had a separate appointment for it. She kept giving unreasonable excuses to avoid doing the service, and later mentioned it "could be a glitch in the system", that clearly shows that the issue wasn’t on my end. I absolutely hated the way she treated me. The experience felt disrespectful and unprofessional, and I left feeling extremely disappointed. I truly expect better communication and customer care from Ulta.

I really love this Ulta. The product selection is great and the testers are always clean. Normally the staff here are friendly and helpful, which is why I was surprised by my recent experience with Michele. I am not sure if she was just having a bad day, but she came across as very rude, not only to me but to others as well. I was waiting patiently in the online pickup line, understanding it was busy, when she turned around and asked me in the rudest tone, "You have a pick up order?" There was no smile, just a standoffish attitude. While helping others, she was also venting to a coworker about how she was over her shift and needed to go on lunch soon. She wasn’t even engaging with the customers. She seemed like a manager, which made it more disappointing. My sister (who was checking out at the registers) even pointed out how negative her energy was while checking people out, with no smiles and just attitude. It stood out because everyone else at this location is usually kind and professional. I honestly expected better, especially since this is considered the nicer and bigger Ulta in Denton. I hope Michele was just having an off day and that things improve, because I usually have great experiences here.

Disappointed with haircut. Do not use Julissa. Showed her a picture of what I wanted. She even said you would like lots of layers. 1st she was 20 minutes late getting to me, ok I understand sometimes this happens. Left with a haircut exactly like I came in with, accept it looks like I cut it myself by just cutting of 2 inches. Now going to have pay someone else to straighten it out

Not only is the staff rude , but so is the manager!! I go into the store for a perfume set and they are sold out. So they have me order it through them and do not give me a receipt but tell me that I will get an email with a confirmation number. Well I not only get no email with that but they did in fact have my email correct because I got a 20 percent off deal in my email from them so I know they have it right. When I call the store the the staff girl is rude and she gets an attitude when I try to ask questions and tells me she's getting her manger, then the manager is rude to me when I ask why I didnt get an email and how am I supposed to show proof about my purchase and when will I receive my purchase and she slams the phone down!! I work in retail and I am not over reacting when I say that this was just flat out wrong and completely disrespectful!!! Ulta will definitely not get my business ever again and that perfume set will be bought from anywhere else as will other hair, and makeup items!!!

Don’t book this girl..🤦‍♀️ Had an appointment today at 12:15pm with Julissa G. Today. I scheduled my service to be just a 15 mins tops scalp renew treatment and a blow dry & straight which was 30-35mins….all came out to $58, no problem PLUS my hair short. Where it got upsetting was when I arrived 3-4 mins early just to sit 10mins past my time (to be clear not a problem, but because this was pulled….ima add it). I get called to the back by Julissa G. just for her to beat around the bush about how she can’t do my service because she’s book/backed up…….💀🤚🏼. I scheduled an appointment with you Ms. Julissa G. @12:15pm and you’re going to tell me you can’t do my hair but just the styling💀🤚🏼….that you can "try" and get someone down there to do my hair (someone you assume is free). But wanted ME to pay full price….but couldn’t do my full service cause customers behind me were more important. Make that make sense🤦‍♀️… Do Not Book With Julissa G.
