Kariema was professional, informative and knowledgeable about hair. She did a consultation and shared invaluable information about my hair. Most importantly when I stopped by her shop I was desperate, due to a cancellation of a previous appointment. Kariema without hesitation worked me into her schedule and did an amazing job retwisting my micro locs. She didn't rush or charge me extra for a last-minute appointment, she just worked vigorously to get the job done and it looked beautiful and professional when she was done! Let’s talk about her shop. It’s such a quaint and cozy salon. She has wall art, chandeliers comfy chairs, snacks, water, and wine to indulge in if you choose to! My servies were excellent!!!!! Kariema & Angel were able to schedule me in and give me full service and took great care of me & chaos !! I love the environment energy and craft !!! I will definitely be back again ! She does natural, braids and i have officially found a home !!!!

I came here about 3 months ago. I had matted hair and just needed a detangle. Kariema said she'd work with me on pricing because she wanted to charge $200. If you've seen her salon, you'd know that's a high price to be at a shop that looks like it's my auntie's house. I was already apprehensive because of how the shop looked but I decided to trust her. I sit in her chair and she starts putting a creme product in my hair. I begin asking her what the product was and she said it was her "special recipe", so the shop was red flag #1, the fact that she was hesitant to tell me what she was putting in MY HAIR was red flag #2. I don't need to trash this lady but... Needless to say she kicked me out of her salon with a head full of the creme product, that smelled like a perm relaxer which is why I asked what it was in the first place...she didn't even wash it out after asking me if I wanted to detangle my own hair which is what I was PAYING HER TO DO. I thanked her and left. She's used to working with other types of people and if you've ever been to a luxury salon or ever had a sew in with a closure, do not go to her. You'll be disappointed.

Joshua welcomed us with warm and good energy. The organization had a clear mission, and it was evident that everyone was passionate about making a difference. We participated in a community meal event we accepted prepared and served nutritious meals for my family. The organization was well-organized, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. I appreciated how they fostered a sense of community, connecting volunteers and participants in meaningful ways. The gratitude expressed by those they served was heartwarming and served as a powerful reminder of the impact their efforts have on our lives.

Very professional, atmosphere is clean and comfortable. Since I have been getting my hair done there it is very healthy and growing. Prices are very affordable..Kariema takes pride in her professional. I highly recommend this place of business.

Getting my hair done at Kariema's is like going to a salon run by family. I usually get a rollar set on natural hair, and I also usually fall alseep at the wash bowl. The salon is welcoming and Ms. Kariema provides top tier customer service.
