Nelson is truly fantastic! Extremely skilled, and quick. I have very thick hair and he cut it better and faster than anyone I've ever been to before. Did a dramatic transformation from long to a shaggy razored bob. Knows all the techniques and tricks. Understood my vision from a few pictures, but also used his expertise to make suggestions so it was even better suited to my face and hair. He also cuts my boyfriend's thick and unruly hair, and does a great job giving him a fashionable, low maintenance cut. His work would easily cost twice as much in the Bay Area or even Sacramento.

I have been coming here to see Carrie for YEARS and I love her work. I live in Sacramento and haven't been able to find anyone I like here so I've been driving to Davis. I love that she will hear me out, I usually have a general idea of what I want (length or style wise) and outside of that I just ask her to tweak it how she decides so that in the end it'll suit my face shape and look good on me. She has never failed and I will continue to come back here and see her until forced otherwise.

Jo Ann has been cutting our hair since the late 70s always a great cut with fun conversation.
