I have been a customer for 2 years today at Salon Snob. I wanted a dramatic change and after doing a lot of research and asking vetted stylists at some of the most prestigious salons in Chicago. Jordyn was the most confident and put my nerves at ease, granted I was ready for a complete 180 change and still apprehensive about just trusting anyone. But Jordyn put my nerves at ease. So for my dramatic change- I went from medium brown hair down to my shoulders to blonde pixie cut. Blonde as in platinum, for a natural brunette this is hard to achieve. Jordyn was confident and achieved it along with all my expectations about what I felt it should be. I loved the color and look of it and during the stages of growth, Jordyn was very attentive, listened, and was able to manage my expectations. Because sometimes as clients we have unrealistic ones. I remember one day sitting in her chair for 6 hours because I wanted a "grown" out blonde look..as I was used to seeing that before I sat in the chair. I hate staying at any beauty appointment longer than 3 hours. She was attentive and wanted to make sure I was happy. After this appointment we made a rule. I would go home for 24 hours and wear the hair, see if I liked it or not then text her. I can say 100% I loved it every time and just needed to get used to it. As my hair grew out she addressed all my needs and concerns, although I was not too ecstatic about extensions I pulled the trigger, for the front half of my hair grow out. Mostly because I had a straight "Tennessee mullet" for my professional career that was not acceptable, I had extensions in the front for grow out for about 6 months. No problems and not crazy hair loss. Very healthy. I decided after 1.5 years of being "blonde" it was time to go back to my basics- dark brown. Called Jordyn and she said "okkay girl" So here we go being me back to brown! So this girl knows her clients so well..because it’s all about understanding their need and managing expectations. She took me brown, but took me brown in a semi perm not permanent. This color washed out but she wanted to make sure this was the avenue I wanted to go, and this appointment I confirmed yes! Let’s go all the way perm. She was explaining to me, her thought process like let’s try brown and see, then when you are 100% let’s go for the commitment. So we went! I honestly am very picky on my hair, I trust Jordyn with everything I call her the CEO of my hair! I am moving to east coast but she is such a gem to find I will fly her out just to take care of my hair needs. My hair was damaged (I’m a blonde), from a different salon so Jordyn gave me a protein treatment and it did wonders for my hair. She also went above and beyond to squeeze me in for a spray tan before I left on vacation, in between clients. Jordyn is bubbly, loyal, and extremely talented. She’s someone you want on your team!
