Elle did an amazing job on my first visit looking for a new stylist. Great men's haircut, and I appreciated the offer of a post-cut rinse so that I could get on with my day without getting 'stabbed' by rogue hair. Finished off with a texturizing powder styling per my request. The facility is also stunning - will be returning.

I had the best experience at Salon Buzz from the moment I walked! Lauren and Phil are the best!! They are amazing at what they do and really took the time to listen to what I was wanting for my hair. Everybody is so kind and welcoming here, and they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable throughout your whole experience. Love my new hair and can’t wait to come back! 💛

I went for a color correction, and I walked out worse. I offered my formula to my colorist, and she said it wasn’t necessary, I showed them multiple pictures, I don’t know what more I could’ve done to help the Colorist with the exact vision of that I wanted. Not just that, but it was a prior color that I already had so it wasn’t anything dramatic. I walked out with orange/red hair and I’m devastated. I would not recommend the salon. Managment tried rectify the situation, but it doesn’t change the outcome. My scalp was already burning from the Malibu treatment so I have to be stuck with this color for at least two weeks. Never in my 15 years of coloring have o ever left a salon in tears and looking like a train wreck. I highly recommend people do their research and look at instagram pages of colorists to see their work. If it’s not heavy in photos, move on.

Was looking for a new place to get my hair cut and found Salon Buzz. After checking the reviews and seeing Phil’s name listed so many times I knew I had to check him out. Safe to say the reviews were 100% true. He’s amazing and so talented. Left the salon with the hair of my dreams! I’ll definitely be going back!!!

Every time I visit Phil, he completely transforms my look. Even when I’m unsure what I want, he always delivers—he’s truly a hair whisperer. He’s the only person I trust with my hair, and somehow it always grows faster after his cuts. If you’re reading this, book with Phil. You won’t regret it.

Rarely write reviews, but… I went to Phil before a weekend of wedding events and wanted a blow out that would truly last. I didn’t think it was possible — his blow out was not only exceptional but also lasted for four full days. I have no idea how and have never met a stylist who could manage this (and I live in NYC!). So grateful, and want to make sure he gets this message. Thank you Phil!

I started going to salon buzz this year after going to the same salon for more than a decade after my last stylist left that location. I wear my hair natural so only see Phil every 3-4 months for a hair cut. He does a wonderful job blowing out my hair gently, flat ironing, and giving me a haircut that has shape and movement that is very flattering when I wear my hair coily which is it's natural state. I feel like I'll be coming to salon buzz for the next 10 years as long as Phil is there!
