Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I wanted to share that after my mom has been paying monthly for at least four years maybe more I’ve thinking I’m going to switch her to another place. Last year, we got her gift cards that were only $15 less than the membership fee, they were still getting money from us each month. They said when I purchased the gift cards that the didn’t require a membership, but my mom was told after she’s been using gift cards for six months now she had to sign up, with the stipulation that she wouldn't have to pay until after using her gift cards. That doesn’t make sense. That also was a lie because they have charged her twice now. On one occasion, when she tried to use a gift card, they informed her it was only valid for a facial. so I’m sure the whole time she was getting her massage. She was worried about that and then when she got done the lady like oh yeah I asked my manager. It’s OK. To be honest, the services there are subpar. I’ve visited several times for massages while in town from LA, and they’ve consistently been disappointing. The staff themselves have mentioned that it’s a starter place. My advice for anyone considering gift cards here is to make sure to record the manager explaining how they can be used, as the rules seem unclear and always changing. Also understand that this place is starting place.

Blown Away!!! Lourdes was awesome with everything. Very polite and has lots of experience!! Me and my wife came in for an hour. The Location is very clean and lighting is good on the eyes i almost fell asleep haha we will definitely be back!

Edit to add: I just had the best massage of my life by Ashley. I’ve seen several therapist here and they’ve all done a great job for the most part but no one worked extensively on my knots in my upper back and shoulder which is my main issue and what causes me pain daily. I haven’t felt this much relief in years. Ashley is a keeper. Thank you so much! Happy to be a member here, just got my second massage, deep tissue is the way to go if you have a lot of pain and tension/knots. Amy did a wonderful job, I’m sorry I don’t remember who worked on me the first time but they also did great, I just didn’t think to ask to add deep tissue that time. I’ll be back soon! It’s hard to choose between wanting a facial or massage and having limited time, but looking forward to my next visit regardless! Thank you again!!! My upper back is constantly in pain so I really needed this!

My experiences at Hand and Stone have been amazing! My first massage was with Steven and I was absolutely hooked! I’ve been preaching the benefits of massage to EVERYONE ever since! I suffer from chronic pain issues and Steven was completely professional, courteous, and attentive. If there was an area that needed more attention, he was right on it. I’ve had such great praise for Steven that my mother-in-law, a friend visiting from Europe, and my husband have all gone to him since my initial visit. Each person leaves their session feeling renewed! The next session I attended was with Ezzy. She is so sweet and caring, while being an absolute professional. She is visually impaired and her service dog, Calypso is in the room as well. When I booked an appointment for myself and my husband, he was initially assigned to Ezzy but when I found out she has a service dog I asked him if we could please switch. Calypso is so well mannered and gentle! I asked Ezzy if I could say hello and I was greeted by the warmest, most gentle soul. Having Calypso in the room felt like such a bonus to me! She was an absolute joy! I felt like I was getting emotional therapy along with my physical massage! Ezzy is an amazing masseuse, she worked out so many knots on my shoulders and back, it was unbelievable! My entire body and spirit felt joyful after my session with Ezzy and Calypso! Everyone at Hand and Stone is warm and welcoming! The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel relaxed and welcomed! Hand and Stone is also very active in the local community, which only strengthens their already stellar reputation in my eyes! As always, I look forward to my next visit!

I really like the facility, it was so clean & calming. The customer service at the front desk was wonderful. My only complaint is that my masseuse kept talking very loudly throughout the entire massage when I had requested a quiet one. I spoke to the front desk about it, and they were very understanding and helpful. I plan to go back again and request a different masseuse. It’s definitely a lovely place!

Book Caroline for a deep tissue if you’re a ball of knots. Trust me. I’ve been getting monthly professional massages for many years and there’s no one like her! Facility is great. Front desk service gals are so lovely. Easy to book and very clean.

I was a referral by a friend to this beautiful day spa. Facials by Aubrey is a must! She has improved my skin quality immensely. I also am interviewing massage therapists after my regular gal, Patty left the company. She was lovely and a great masseuse. I will find another regular one soon. It's clean and peaceful, and I feel safe and relaxed. It's totally worth joining their monthly program!
