I had a really great experience with Barbara. I found her by googling hair salons and really liked her work based on pictures and reviews. I called the day before I was seen which was nice to be accommodated so last minute. She's also very personable and sweet. I didn't quite understand what a Balayage was but I trusted her to do what she showed me in pictures. Needless to say, I'm happy with the finished product.

Barbara did a fantastic job with my highlights and toner to remove previous brassiness. She is a warm and caring stylist who makes you feel comfortable and takes the time to explain what she is doing. I highly recommend her! Before and after photos attached.

Barbara was wonderful very professional I showed her some pictures of what I wanted and she really explained to me how they would not work with my thin hair so I told her to do what she thought was best for the type of hair I had and I was so pleased. She really really knew exactly what I wanted and did it according to my hair, It was my first time with her and now she is my favorite hairstylist. I highly recommend Barbara so if you need hair done haircuts color, Havana hair salon is the place to go with Barbara.

Barbara is a sweet lady, however lacked knowledge of perms. She Permed onto highlighted hair which is an absolute no as i soon learned after. Honestly she should of known better, and maybe she did but still why would you ? I came to her, someone i thought i could trust to do my hair, to know what is best for my hair and who is specialized within the field and she let me down. You can clearly see my highlights and how healthy and strong my hair was before the ordeal. I also felt like she isn’t honest or doesn’t want to muster up to the fact she made a mistake. I went to a couple different stylists in which they stated it looked overprocessed, and I agree. Barbara left the chemicals in my hair while she took 2 other clients in her very small suite, which i thought was odd. PERMING is such a delicate process that i feel like she didn’t give it the attention it deserved. She also offered to send me samples of a treatment to help with my hair but she never did, honestly i don’t want to say she doesn’t care but she’s acting like she doesn’t care. I had to fight to get my money back for a horrible hair service. Honestly i don’t think she knows how good of an attitude I’ve had through this as i could’ve easily went through legal stuff as i know a ton of women would But that’s not me, she made a very very bad mistake and doesn’t want to own to it. I get it, you have good reviews saying you do a fabulous job but no one is perfect and you can’t overlook the couple of reviews that aren’t happy with their service, you can only take it and learn from it, and if you don’t want to, then fine. In other words, i absolutely do not recommend this place, i can’t trust her to do or touch my hair again. I hope she is more honest in the future on what she can do so this doesn’t happen again. I know myself, I’m healthy, I eat right so it will grow back nice again however I wish my hair was more properly taken care of. Update: bárbara commented she did know that PERMING into highlighted hair is a big risk but still did it. While you say it’s ok, other stylists say it’s an absolute NO and that’s coming from literally 10 different stylists… So what, you carelessly permed onto my highlighted hair. And You didn’t do no "strand test" to see if my hair is healthy. You just slapped chemicals on it. Honestly it’s even more frustrating that this isn’t even worth my time. Please everyone be careful

Barbara was great! She got me in on short notice and did a really amazing job on my hair. At first the dye wasn't taking how we wanted so she washed it out and started over and said she didn't care about wasting the product, so long as I left happy! I really appreciated all the effort she put in!
