Annmarie is absolutely AMAZING!! I recently got a hair cut, gloss, and blow dry from her and my hair came out so beautifully. I’ve been getting compliments ever since! She’s truly a master of her craft. Annmarie took the time to consult and educate me to ensure I made the best styling choices for myself and my lifestyle. She also gave me some really thoughtful recommendations for products to help with hair concerns I have, but not once did I feel pressured to purchase anything. She was also so fun to chat with throughout the appointment! I can’t recommend her enough!!

I had such a great experience at this salon. The location I originally wanted was fully booked, and I’m honestly so glad I ended up here instead. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed, checked in promptly, and even offered something to drink. Adrianna was so welcoming and kind, and she took the time to really understand what I was looking for. I felt heard and completely taken care of throughout the entire appointment. I absolutely love how my hair turned out. The whole experience was seamless and exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be back.

Such an amazing experience with the staff at 718. Called in for a last minute appointment and was booked with Annmarie who is a sweetheart! I got a silk press with a conditioner treatment and my hair was so soft and fully.

Diamond is an amazing, obviously experienced, and creative stylist. She took the ideas and example photos I came in with and transformed them into a unique, dynamic look. She cut my hair a week ago and did a color consult as my hair was complicated by 3 tones of grey, natural brunette, and copper tips. The cut was perfect and was complimentary in a way she made happen. Today, we did a double process fantasy color of mermaid. The 2 tone teal and blue is literally beautiful. It takes an exceptional professional to know what and how to not just satisfy a client but completely wow them. Her customer service and attention to detail was great. Jennifer, her assistant, was also fantastic. She knew what to do without being told, asked questions when necessary, was a great team player, and had a lovely personality. She will obviously go on to excel at the next step of the job. Diamond’s personality combined with her talent and love for the job means I will absolutely be a repeat customer - with her as my stylist. Tysm, Diamond, for making my 1st experience exceptional.

I’m way past overdue writing about Diamond. I’ve always hated haircuts. I’d rather go to the dentist. Stick with me: I hated them to the point where I avoided them because getting a haircut meant being unsatisfied and unhappy. But here I am writing this review because I’m excited just thinking about my appointment in March! I had my first visit with Diamond in 2024 and she’s worked with my hair 3 times in that time. Not only has it grown a lot but when she cuts it, the cut looks good immediately. When it grows out, it keeps looking good and it doesn’t tangle. My hair feels so safe in her hands!!! Also she’s a baddie so she gets the vision. She has CONSISTENTLY given me the cut I want and really pays attention to every individuals hair type. Each time I’ve sat in her seat, she’s working with all different hair textures, colors, and styles. She does straight, bleach blonde, kinky, you name it: EVERYONE leaving satisfied. EVERYONE. And with a smile on their face. She really cares about what she does and is a master and artist at her craft. She’s got it down to a science. Honestly it’s really fascinating watching her work with so many different kinds of hair and everyone leaving satisfied and feeling better than when they got there. She’s unique, brilliant, beautiful, funny, and caring. XOXO

I’ve gone to Rose twice now, and she’s absolutely amazing! 💕 Not only does she do incredible work, but she also makes the whole experience so fun and relaxing. She takes her time to walk me through every step, explains what she’s doing, and makes sure I feel comfortable the entire time. Her personality is just the best! Nalani and Julia were absolutely lovely. I’ve been to many salons in nyc and the hospitality they offered by far surpassed my previous experiences. Without a doubt invaluable assets to salon 178. I will be coming back to this studio for some baby lights
