HELLO !! It’s me again, here to leave another DISSATISFIED review since the owner has failed to reply to my emails regarding a full refund of the service that was provided to me. I came here 2 weeks ago for a manicure/nail fix and the result was completely not worth it! What’s worse is the owners lack of accountability and rectification of this issue. Instead he proceeded to make me feel liable for "not looking" throughly before I left the salon. It was late, I was tired from work and jetted out of there. Not to mention the nail tech was ROUGH when filing my nails to the point where she broke skin, I wish I knew her name so I could steer anyone away from her! She didn’t even ask me what type of nails I wanted, just went in with acrylic—YUCK. Anyways, DO NOT COME HERE. I wasted $115 for nails that didn’t even last me 2 weeks.

Since I cannot reply to the owners replies and apparently he is unreachable through email, I am left with no choice but to make yet another review. In reference to your last reply, you should be receiving 0 stars! First I’d like to provide you with the receipts—I emailed you TWICE, in which both emails have received no response. Therefore as previously stated I am taking action to inform the community of the RED FLAGS I encountered doing business with Barry. Now here’s the scam, I paid for my service using Apple Cash and because of this I am unable to dispute this transaction. I’m sure this "business owner" is fully aware of that. It feels like I’ve been robbed! After my first review I had already stated that I would not be returning after having my skin ripped by your nail technician, my finger was in PAIN for days! And in addition to your smug response, I did have my nails redone and they came out 100x better! Not to mention the service I was provided was a 10/10! They even served me tea, did you offer me tea? NO. I’ve attached a photo for reference. This is my first time ever having a dispute like this with any business but as it turns out this business is not better business bureau accredited, I should’ve known better! Moving forward I will be filing a complaint with the BBB based on my experience since Barry has expressed to relinquish any responsibility for the terrible service I received. I will say it again, AVOID THIS PLACE and if you do come PAY WITH CARD.

I had a super hectic week and came in just to check off one thing off of my list and do self care. I didn’t have an appointment so I walked in and waited about 40 minutes since I had to get it done and there were no more appointments for the next day (vday weekend). It was about 6:15 when someone was free and the nail tech was an older woman with glasses (didn’t get her name) and though I was happy someone was able to do my nails, I didn’t get the proper service I should’ve received. It was my third or 4th time coming and this time the nail tech was rude, filing my skin and my nail roughly and when I told her I was bleeding, she put the solution on but didn’t apologize and made it seem as if it was my fault because I "couldn’t relax my hand" She also mentioned how my hand was "stiff" and that’s what caused it because my skin was sensitive smh. I also told her I wanted an accent nail and initially put the red polish on all the nail beds and said "she didn’t remember" but was referring to me which I thought was weird. The last time I had a mani there I got a nice hand scrub at the end but instead she just offered Nivea lotion. She’s lucky I was gracious enough to tip her after that experience but next time I’ll be sure to go to another nail tech who did my nails before properly or book online instead.

Needed an urgent fix for a broken nail found this place on google and saw the good reviews. I was welcomed as a walk in and the place is cozy, staff seemed friendly however my manicure came out horrible. Paid $100 for acrylic nails! Nail tech said it was because French nails are a hard style to do—which felt like a cop out excuse. She did take a good amount of time to do my manicure so I didn’t feel inclined to take a good look at them but once I got home…chileee. They will not be seeing me back again. Let me not forget to mention that she was rough when filing my nails to the point where she broke skin. Unfortunately did not receive my money’s worth!

If not Barry's then who? Great service everytime.. my nails last long and looks amazing.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Today I received one of the best salon experiences ever. The atmosphere at Barry’s was incredible, the services were even more amazing, and even the customers were chill. Lol! I have to say that Dior is absolutely amazing. He took his time and exceeded all my expectations. He is truly talent and gifted. Kesha did my feet and took her time and I love how it came out! I must also add that looking around at all the nails techs doing their thing, I didn’t see one bad job. Even the simple designs/ nails looked great. This is how everyone should feel leaving a salon. They have won themselves a customer. 🥹🙅🏾‍♀️
