I just visited this establishment for the first time and was NOT disappointed. Very friendly staff, they braided my hair exactly how I wanted it had great coor options for extensions, great price, & nice variety of hair products, highly recommend, will be going back

I am in lovee with my hair! (Micros in the middle with a sew-in in the back). I had an appointment this morning. This was my first time visiting the shop and first time getting the style I have and when I tell you everything was executed perfectly, I mean that! The shop owner was kind and welcoming. She communicated with me every step of the way to ensure we were on the same page. She’s gained a new faithful client. Thank you!!

I work a full-time job, and I’m trying to study for a test. My shifts are 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m . I texted the owner a week ago for my appointment, which was going to be at 5 p.m. When I get to the salon , the owner is doing another customer’s hair, and the person who is going to braid my hair was at her other job, so it’s going to take an hour. Which means she was going to be there at 6 p.m. I said that’s fine, I’ll wait the hour. The owner can’t cornrow jumbo braids, which is fine. Everyone specializes in different things. 6 p.m. comes, and still, no hairstylist. I’m waiting , waiting, and waiting. It’s 6:40 p.m. at this point, and she’s still a no-show. I’m texting my boyfriend, keeping him updated, and he’s just as upset as me. You wanna know when the stylist finally arrives? 7:22 p.m. My boyfriend is already outside. She doesn’t even apologize. The hairstyle I wanted was going to take 45 minutes to an hour at best. I understand things happen, and people have lives. However, be professional. I could’ve spent that time studying. I will never come back to this place.

I got the small knotless braids and they did such an amazing job. I have curly hair so I wanted a little bit of weave and not a lot of tension. The lady knew exactly what to do to take care for my curls 3a/b. She did my protective style really good. Their price is too low/ cheap for their amazing service. The quality of these braids is everything!

Hair shaming at its worst. On one visit the owner said that she would charge more the next time because my 4C hair was difficult to handle. On the next visit, the owner wanted to charge me an extra $20 to blow dry my damp hair (washed the day before), before braiding it, because she claimed it was wet. This was all while gospel music was playing in the background. My mistake was going back after the first shady comment. It is my opinion that one can never become so successful that you can risk loosing a client by offending them but this owner seems to thinks differently.

I needed to get my hair braided and didn't want to travel far. Tos African Hair Braiding came up first on my Google search and the first spot is well deserved. I love that she takes appointments and you are seen at the time you book. Very friendly atmosphere. My price included the hair and they did exactly what I wanted. The BONUS I wasn't in there all day. Knotless box braids and in a bun. Just what I asked for. Super neat. Today was my first time but definitely not my last. Perfect for work.
