I recently had an appointment with Brittany at Studio 21 Salon and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From the moment I arrived, Brittany’s professionalism and attention to detail were evident. She took the time to listen carefully to exactly what I wanted, and her expertise really showed through the entire process. The cut she gave me is precise, flattering, and exactly what I was looking for — it frames my face beautifully and has made styling at home so much easier. The color work is equally impressive: the tones are vibrant and blend seamlessly, with a natural dimension that exceeded my expectations. Brittany clearly knows her craft and keeps up with current trends and techniques. The salon environment at Studio 21 is welcoming and energetic, and Brittany’s warm personality made the appointment enjoyable from start to finish. I’m extremely happy with my hair and would highly recommend Brittany to anyone looking for a great cut and color.

After living in Atlanta for 10 years, I was still driving back and forth to see my hairstylist there—even after living in Birmingham for over two years. The drive finally became too hard to manage, so I knew it was time to find someone locally, which honestly made me very nervous. The owner of a salon in Atlanta recommended Salon 21, and that’s how I found Britney—and I’m so glad I did! She was able to squeeze me into her schedule within a week, and from the moment I sat in her chair, she made me feel completely comfortable and right at home! Britney truly listens and genuinely cares about what YOU want for your own hair, which meant so much to me after being with the same stylist for so long. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to make sure you feel confident every step of the way. She did an amazing job on my hair, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. I already have my next appointment booked and am so excited to have finally found my new stylist in Birmingham. Highly recommend Britney and Salon 21!

I am not the type to leave bad reviews but this place was horrible. It is a very clean and new place and everyone is nice, but that is not the only thing I am paying for. I called the salon AHEAD OF TIME to explain to them everything that I had done to my hair in the past so they could have a clear picture of what products were on my hair. I was a dark brown hair and wanted a dark burgundy. I had NO experience with hair coloring, which is why I made sure to go the extra step of letting them know extra information BEFORE I went to the appointment. They told me everything was fine and I went to my appointment, where my stylist told me that she would not need to lift my hair for it to turn out purple. By the time I was done, my hair was BLACK. I left at night, so I waited until the next day to see my hair in the sun to see if there was anything. My hair was BLACK. I immediately called the studio and explained and it took them like 6 hours to even call back to receive a very passive aggressive "manager" that basically told me there was nothing to do be done and it was my fault.... Im sorry but you guys are the professionals and you should have told me there was a chance IT WOULD NOT WORK AT ALL. The so called manager had no sympathy and offered her number for me to send pictures. I sent her pictures of my clearly very black hair and she gaslit me and said she could see the purple and it wasn't their fault that it didn't work like they said. I understand hair is not perfectly predictable, but the stylist said it could be done and even asked for another opinion because she wasn't even certain. It was NOT done, and the manager's answer was I could come back and get it done for full price and I would have to get it lifted. It seems you guys knew that it couldn't be done the way I wanted and didn't care or there is a lack of skill or professionalism somewhere in letting a customer know what is possible and what is not. You guys had a manager and TWO stylists look at my hair and apparently still could not figure out that my hair would definitely need be lifted. Instead you guys told me it would be "dark purple" and gave me black hair... I paid $200 for something I could have done at home and when I brought up my real concerns they told me to come back again for full price to receive what I actually wanted the first time! Mind you, I was extremely nice to everyone throughout this whole process and the manager treated me like dirt and told me haha too bad. My stylist was a very sweet girl though, but man does she work with some terrible people that gave her terrible advice. Do not come here for professional hair care or any kind of advice if you want to be treated with dignity and respect. Go somewhere else Below are my pictures of my hair vs inspiration photos.

I took my friend to get a cut and style by Leah. I was not impressed. Cut wise she probably didn’t do a bad job, because she didn’t get much cut.. but she needs to go back to school and take two more years of extra training. For that haircut to be $75 and the place to look so nice.. I was in complete shock. My friend has had her husband suddenly passed away and health issues too ..so I’m gonna stand up for her! I always give somebody a chance And don’t usually give bad reviews.. But what’s right is right AND what’s wrong is wrong!!!!

What an awesome place!! The girl at the front (I’m so sorry I can’t remember your name 🤭) was so sweet and helpful! My stylist, Brit, was a total rockstar! She listened to everything I wanted, even though I had a tough time describing it, and she helped me come up with a perfect plan for my hair! She did a great job and I can’t wait to come back!

Emily was so personable, sweet, and overall a fantastic stylist!! She did a great job on my color, giving me exactly what I wanted! She also corrected a botched hair cut I got from a great clips. She made me love my hair again!!

Made a last minute decision to get my hair cut yesterday and spoke with a very sweet, accommodating girl (I believe Lily) who really helped me over the phone figure out what I wanted to do and the soonest I could get squeezed in that day. An hour later, I was sitting in Reagan's chair and just babbling about all the different hair ideas I had. She was very good at listening, answering my questions thoroughly, and taking her time to slowly work up to my comfort level on the new hairstyle I was going for. At the end, I got an AMAZING haircut, something that makes me feel brand new, but not too out of my comfort zone, and flatters me perfectly. I feel absolutely gorgeous and like I was well taken care of and listened to at my appointment. I will definitely be visiting Reagan again and I'm so happy I made my last minute decision to come here, they are so sweet and attentive, I couldn't be happier with my experience and outcome. 🥰
