Zazen Salon Spa

I got a 90 minute massage today from Victoria. She was truly exceptional. You know how sometimes you get a massage that feels more like someone is just gently petting you, without any real therapeutic intention? Victoria is the complete opposite of that. Her work is precise, targeted, and deeply effective....it honestly felt like she had eyeballs on her fingers! She is clearly incredibly knowledgeable about the body. Every place she worked on felt intentional, like she knew exactly where to go and why. The best way I can describe it is this: you know when you read a book by a writer who’s just okay… and then you read something by an exceptional writer, where the words like lift off the page? That’s what this massage felt like. Victoria is a gift to the bodywork community. I feel so grateful to have experienced her thoughtful, skilled work today. On top of that, her presence is incredibly calming and kind, which made the entire experience feel deeply relaxing, and supportive. I can’t recommend her highly enough. 🙂

What a great experience! This was my first time going in and it was wonderful. From arriving and being warmly greeted by Derek, to chatting a bit with Amanda and then a fabulous facial with Kira! Great ambience and they sure do set you up for comfort! Can’t wait to go back ❤️

I had an amazing experience getting my haircut here by Amanda! I was super nervous to make such a big change but she really listened to what I wanted and gave me the perfect cut. The salon was clean, welcoming, and I walked out feeling confident!

Finally had the chance to come to Zazen for a spa day and it was fantastic. When I worked here in 2013, it had gone an amazing transformation. The current owners now have made that transformation even better. The new extension to the spa is beautiful and optimizes relaxation! All the services were absolutely amazing and so relaxing. Can’t wait to be back.

I love this place so much, the service is very amazing and I always feel very valued, this time I went wasn't for me but was for my younger cousin. She got a balayage, highlights, and some face framing curtain bangs. I know she is very pleased and happy with her hair and she loves it! I can't wait to go back myself for my next hair-do! As an older woman, my eyebrows are graying and have noticeable bare spots. After getting them shaped and tinted by Lila, I felt 10 years younger. In addition, I received several compliments on my appearance that week. I was thrilled and will continue booking my brows regularly. Lila has a calm, caring, and intuitive ability. I’ve had facials, eyebrow waxing and shaping, microdermabrasion, as well as my bridal makeup. In each case I felt she responded well to my needs. Lila is a true professional.

I regret to say this was one of the most disappointing spa visits I’ve had, especially considering the price point. The esthetician assigned to me had only two months of experience, which became quite apparent during the session. There was no explanation of what products were being applied or why, and the entire treatment felt rushed and impersonal. To make matters worse, the esthetician had noticeably bad breath throughout the session—something that made it difficult to relax or feel comfortable. There was an overall lack of professionalism, and some staff gave the impression that they were just there to collect a paycheck. I walked out feeling like I had wasted both time and money. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
