Secret Garden Nails & Beautique - Bellevue

My first manicure here is great! I like it a lot. But the second and third time wasn’t great. Second appointment, the color wasn’t what I expected from looking at the sample. The color is different from the sample and the tech seems annoyed when I asked. In the end, the color is slightly improved but still not what I expected. I decided to try again today since the first manicure was great. Its disappointing. The layers applied are way too thick, it doesn’t look natural but bulky and uneven. I would expect more from this place as its on the pricey side. (Close to $100 including tips, with removal) Additionally, when the tech is buffing my nail with her fingers (no gloves), it hurts a lot that it turns red. I think it’s not hygienic too. Update: I went back for a fix the next day, they insisted there is no issue with it, it because of the polish I picked. I decided to remove them all, since they would charge me if they redo it. I am relieved now. The tech wasn’t able to take all of the nail polish off, claiming that my cuticle is too thin. I believe the polish applied too close to the cuticle. The removal is complimentary. I believe providing better training to technicians or hiring more professionals technicians will reduce the chances of this happening again. Side note: I do like the vibe, and I cant smell any nail polish inside the salon.

Probably the worst manicure I have ever had. She only cut cuticles on 9 nails, forgot one nail. Then she dipped the brush in the nail polish ONCE for all 10 nails. Subsequently the polish was see through for 2 coats. I told her I only wanted 2 coats, but that would have looked even worse since she barely used any polish. For my pedicure I told her I didn’t want a massage or lotion. So I just had my cuticles done and a color change. I was charged 155$ for a basic pedicure with no massage, no lotion, and the manicure you see below. Not sure what I was even charged for. Will not be going back.

Possibly the nicest mani/pedi I've ever had! The space is lovely and quiet—no loud news or gameshows, no loud talking. The pedicure chairs are semi-private and are tipped back for "zero-gravity" during the massage portion of the pedicure. As soon as I sat down I was given a warm blanket and neck warmer. The chair was super comfy with a gentle massage sensation. It was VERY relaxing! Annie made my toes look beautiful. Also got a dazzle dry (non toxic) manicure which looks great. Lovely massage and perfect cuticle trimming. Annie also helped build up a nail split I've had for years. The service at Secret Garden was far and above any other nail salon I've visited in Seattle. I will be back!

I’m honestly sad I hadn’t discovered this place sooner. This was the most relaxing pedicure I’ve ever had—I could have fallen asleep right in the chair. The spa is calm, cool, and quiet, with beautifully soothing music. I truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, with no loud talking or shouting, just pure relaxation. This is definitely my new go-to spot. If you’re looking for high-quality pedicure services in a serene environment, I highly recommend it. I haven’t tried their other services yet, but I absolutely plan to.

If I could rate this place 10 stars I would. This is the only place I will get a pedicure. This and the Bothell location. It’s quiet, no one tries to have a conversation. It’s incredibly relaxing. It’s 💯 the best place I’ve ever been. The massage is the very best. It’s more than just lotion application. But truly this is an experience worth having if you get your nails done.

I went to Secret Garden in Bellevue for a luxury pedicure on my birthday and I had Nora as my tech. She was amazing! The service was clean, relaxing, and I really enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommend!

This is the best pedicure I’ve ever had! The massage and attention to detail during the service was unlike any other salon or spa I’ve been to! This was my first time at this nail salon and my experience started out unpleasant; I walked in on time for my appointment, but spent 15 minutes in the waiting area without any employees acknowledging me. A few employees saw me and continued working on their clients’ nails—which I understand, I wasn’t expecting them to drop everything and assist me—but it was odd that there wasn’t someone at the reception desk or any follow up to alert someone else after the employees clearly knew I was waiting there for a long time. I finally gave up waiting after 15 minutes and decided to take a look at the nail swatches, and only after that, did an employee come to ask if I was here for an appointment. She explained they were busy on weekends, which certainly makes sense. I can empathize that it’s hard to juggle a lot of customers! I just wish there was more forethought into anticipating and making changes to better the experience when someone walks in for the first time. After I was finally seated for my pedicure, my experience was amazing! I was offered water, told about the ingredients they used in the scrub, and given warm towels and blankets. The massage was incredibly relaxing and the zero gravity chair made it even better! The nail polish selection was great and the application was very precise. I think this is the best pedicure I’ve ever had! I’ll definitely come back in the future on a weekday when it’s a bit less busy.
