Unique Creations Salon & Spa has been a life saver for me and I am so glad I gave them a chance. From the first day I completed my consultation, I was pleased with their professional services. I have been with the company for over a year now and I must say it's the best professional environment I've ever been in.. I must say the salon is very organized and clean and I couldn't be happier as their client! They always satisfy my needs 🙂

I went in for a flexi rod set and came out with dreads. I was in there for five hours and when my hair didn't come out right, the owner blamed my hair texture. I had my 4c hair curled all different ways and it never came out like this! I am beyond unsatisfied, and I don't recommend this place for natural hair. It seems that they treat every hair the same and that's not how a salon should work!

I have been a client at Unique Creations Salon & Spa since March 2011. Thankfully, the health of my hair has dramatically improved since Mrs. Rene and her stylists have been caring for it. It is a tranquil environment and I always receive superior customer service!

I wish there was one review on the www before I made the decision to visit Unique Creations. Based on their website/advertisement, they appear to be professional, but I saw otherwise. First I was almost blown away when they requested payment for services upfront. I've never ran out on a bill, but I can see why they wanted payment upfront. I presume it's because they've encounter customers who were as dissatisfied as I with the final product. I had simple micro braids, something I've been getting done for over 8 years off and on. After checking out a few salons, I decided on Unique Creations, because I was in search of a new salon after moving to this city. Anyway, I have thick parts and my hair is thin. I have 1/4-1/2 pack of hair left. I had to listen to the stylist talk about clients and how they "needed" to be walking through their doors. Mind you, none of them had room to talk! Women go to the beauty salon to get their hair in order and not for the so called professionals to be criticizing them. Their conversation was completely out of line, not to mention I was a new client. I'm a big tipper, I'm talking 20%, but after looking at my hair and consider my experience, I grabbed my things and walked out. I didn't say anything to them while I was there because I don't think anything good was going to come out of it. I called the office after leaving to voice my concerns. I guess I'll wait and see if the owner or whomever will return my call to address my issue....One last thing, when I got home and took a closer look my braids, they looked a few weeks old. I've never had braid so loose that I could put them up immediately!! The only good thing about this visit is that I'll be able to sleep comfortably tonight because my braids are nowhere near tight! Please don't take this review for granted...I'm a professional and believe in paying for what I want, at the same time getting what I paid for. I feel like they come out like a rose and I like a weed!

I have been a customer of Unique Creations for over 15 years. I left the area for about two years, but I returned to this establishment the moment I got back into the state. My experience with this company has been nothing short of spectacular. The proprietor, Mrs. Rene Randle, has always been professional and honest about the services that she can provide. Her employees, especially the receptionist/stylist (Ms. Kim) are always pleasant when you walk into the door. If you feel you are dissatisfied with any service that is rendered, Mrs. Randle will go out of her way to make sure that you are a satisfied customer. She feels not only it is the right thing to do, but a satisfied customer is a return customer. I would definitely recommend this salon as a one stop shop for all of your beauty needs.

I’m giving 3 stars on behalf of the very sweet nail tech and owner. Personality goes a long way, but unfortunately so does a good mani-pedi. Don’t get me wrong , I would love to return if: The TV wasn’t on playing over the relaxing music The lobby wait wasn’t so long even though an appt was made My nails didn’t chip the day I got them done If I wasn’t rushed out before my nails were dry (Literally there was a guy shutting the building right when I was barely out the building) If the exfoliating wasn’t so aggressive (my skin is scratched up) If they paid attention to the allergies I listed on the intake form It was honestly the worst manicure and pedicure I’ve ever had but it was very cheap so I’m ok with that. Also, I had a great conversation with Kendra and that was awesome!!! I hate to look like a hater but I felt my experience could have been much better on the technical side of things. Love this small business but I don’t think I’ll be returning sadly 🙁
