Salon du Sud - Beauty Salon

I’ve been living in Baton Rouge for three years now, and I’ve had a hard time finding a stylist who works with my schedule and who I connect with. Then, I discovered Emma at Salon du Sud. I look forward to every appointment because she’s incredibly sweet, works diligently and efficiently, and pays close attention to detail. She remembers everything we discussed during our previous appointment, which shows her genuine care for me as a client. I’m so grateful that I found her! The salon itself is charming and always plays great music. Thank you, Salon du Sud and Emma! ❤️

Kelly is the best! She took her time with my hair and never made me feel rushed! She took extra time to wash, dry, straighten, cut, re-wash, and style my naturally curly hair. I am recommending her to all my curly friends! It’s hard to find people to trust to cut your curly hair, and Kelly is definitely incredible at it!

LOVE Salon du Sud! Morgan always listens to what I’m asking for and never tries to rush me out. I have very thick hair and there have been a couple salons in town who have made me feel like they were frustrated that my hair took so long to dry or kept talking about their next appointment. But Morgan always makes sure to allow enough time for my hair, and has never made me feel that way. And the old house feel with modern decor is so cute and such a lovely atmosphere!

We booked with Salon du Sud for my daughter's wedding. Four ladies- Mari, Olivia, Emma, and Macy- came to her hotel the morning of the wedding to do hair and makeup for the entire bridal party for a noon wedding. They were professional, on time, friendly, and accommodating. I would recommend them highly!

I had a great 1st visit from start to finish! The hostess on the phone who scheduled my appointment was kind and patient. My service with Emma was also great! She was kind and very knowledgeable. Overall, it was definitely an awesome experience!

Bridget is amazing! My husband booked me a rejuvenation headspa followed by a blowout earlier this week which was incredible and so relaxing. My hair felt so clean and light. I loved that Bridget was so knowledgeable and helped me understand my hair better and what would look best. I’m horrible at keeping up with haircuts and never know what to ask for when I do get one. I always get the same response of "it’s a personal preference." She told me what to ask for whenever I do get my next cut. I have always wanted to go to someone that just does what they think is best so I immediately booked a haircut with her and I could not be more obsessed with how it turned out! Elise did my hair and makeup for a Mardi Gras ball. She did exactly what I wanted and was so accommodating with my specific requests. My hair looked amazing! Elise was so sweet and made sure I loved both my hair and makeup before I left. Thanks, Elise! I’ll be back to see you again!
