When previously visiting this hair salon I've been satisfied, I've had a new stylist each time I went, but they've all done what I requested perfectly. However, this time was extremely disappointing. The haircut is not at all what I asked for. It's way too short, and even though the stylist asked multiple times to see the reference photo, she didn't do my hair anything like the reference. I also asked for layers but didn't receive any layers due to her cutting it way too short. Overall, it was a very bad experience and I will no longer be going here.

I used to go to Carmen when I was younger and stopped for a while. They were really good in the past, too, but I really needed a haircut that fit my schedule and budget. They made it happen. Not only that, but it was the best I've ever felt about a haircut after the fact.

Long wait or indeed, stylist bails completely. Inferior service and expensive. Only had experience with one stylist, Linda Roberts and it was totally unprofessional. I waited almost a month for Linda to order new extensions and she didn't...she chided and criticized me afterwards and told me "hair" wasn't that important when other things are going on." If "hair" isn't important then why is her profession being a "hair" stylist? Totally disgusted and was lucky to find another stylist who actually thinks "hair" is important.

Melissa did an absolutely AMAZING job on my hair. I can't say enough good things about her and this salon!

After reading the reviews I was a bit nervous. But I needed my hair done and couldn't do it myself due to recent arm surgery. I made a last minute appointment with Kelsey and she was awesome and I highly recommend her. The salon was clean and very relaxing.

I have been going to Carmen Carmen Salon for over 11 years. I have had services ranging from haircuts and styling to pedicures, massages and facials. Every single service has been exceptional. I credit most of this to the salon’s meticulous management under Linda White. She works tirelessly to ensure every client is valued and cared for, while inspiring a productive spirit within her staff. The creative team is like family, making each guest feel comfortable, welcomed, and pampered. I always look forward to going into the salon to relax. Now my 4 year old son gets his haircut there, and he loves it (especially the special ocean cape he gets to wear). The girls are so good with little ones, and I like that his hair always looks stylish. Brittany usually does my sons hair, and I see Laura for my own. I have exceptionally long and thick hair and she is a master at making it feel lighter. I would highly recommend both stylists anyday! We plan to be at Carmen Carmen again for another 11 years and counting!
