I visited this store yesterday with some friends after school looking for a foundation, I have been having trouble looking for my shade. We asked to go to the bathroom and after headed to the nars foundation I was trying on a few different shades which none of them matched so I gave up and decided to go to Sephora while walking out I heard the employee saying "they’re leaving" and I saw another employee heading to the nars section where we were. Not one employee bothered to check up on us or offered to do a color match but rather stereotyped us and acted as if we were stealing because a group of Venezuelans men came in to steal when we first got there. I never had this problem with the other Ulta stores and it’s disappointing. Hopefully you guys receive better training and check up on customers regularly rather than ignore them and accuse them of stealing.

The amount of gossip that some of the workers engage in/and about their coworkers is extremely tacky. I was just there yesterday and overheard workers discussing another worker and using words like "crybaby" and "tattletale." It’s like entering a grade school playground. This is not the first time I’ve been exposed to the drama. When asking an employee about shampoo, it dragged into advising me to not speak to the girl in fragrance because she "doesn’t know what she’s doing and people try not to engage with her." I was shocked? The lack of professionalism by management and workers is astonishing. The issue isn’t products or policies, it’s the allowance of disrespect. I shop this location quite often, because it’s been convenient to my location but it’s becoming consistently uncomfortable that when I visit, I don’t choose to engage with workers anymore. If I can’t find what I am looking for, I’ll just leave and head to Sephora or order online. Capri, Amari and Marisol are the only workers I will engage with when I see them and I’ve made it a point to remember their names because they have always been super helpful and respectful so they deserve some recognition. Others, not so much. Some soft skill training and maybe ethical communication training should be considered. I manage influencers and have celebrity clients, but I tell them all to not shop this location. Women are stigmatized every day for their gossip nature to where we aren’t taken serious and we should all want to do better for the sake of breaking those labels, not feed into them! Word to the wise ladies- if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all!

Well, I will no longer be patronizing Ulta Beauty. They have very limiting rules which do not support customer service. A cap broke on my hair gel and because I bought it over 60 days ago…they refused to exchange it for a new bottle. This is not the first time they have not backed up a purchase. I’m moving on to friendlier pastures! I don’t need to be referred to your website OR your narrow minded policies🤮

I don’t know much about makeup or their accessories. But at this store I was helped greatly by MALIA! who went out of her way from behind the counter to walking up and down isles with me to make sure I found what I was looking for. This being said: The person I bought these things for was very happy. Thank you Malia for your great Help.

I’ve never been treated nice here but today I tried to exchange a hair tool that’s impossible to use for something of lesser value. The cashier and manager were EXTREMELY condescending to me. The product wasn’t even open. I’ve worked retail before and I know the managers can make exceptions. I didn’t even want the full value refund I just want a styling tool that I can use. The product that’s dissatisfying is the Infiniti pro by Conair wand. If you are thinking about buying this product don’t. It’s extremely difficult to use and even the tutorial videos people’s hair did not come out curled. I paid $80 and I want to exchange it for the $30 curling iron that I can use. WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I suggested driving to another ultra location before shopping here.

STEPHANIE! My girl! Me and my bestie came in for color matches and help with Halloween makeup and she gave us the best service I’ve had in a while in a retail setting. She was super patient, made really good recommendations, and made sure to steer us toward any deals on products that she could vouch for. Thank you, Stephanie!!!

How fantastic this entire staff is, especially Jordan!! She went out of her way to help me and I cannot thank her enough! She actually seemed like she enjoys her job and helping others!! Give her a raise!! Thank you to her!!
