Extremely disappointed - my hair was completely damaged and the service was unprofessional. I went to Ulta Beauty for a partial highlight and I should’ve known to leave the moment there was no consultation or hair analysis. I specifically told my stylist, Violeta, that the integrity of my curls was most important and to use a 10-volume developer since my hair lightens easily. She ignored this and used 20 volume instead. From the start, she was taking large, uneven chunks of hair for the foils and claimed a partial highlight meant only 10–15 foils — which is completely false (Ulta advertises this service as half the head). She did no weaving whatsoever, and after the first round of bleach, my hair was left splotchy with uneven patches. When I mentioned the issue, she said she "doesn’t like to go all the way to the root," but half my head was bleached to the root and half wasn’t — totally inconsistent. Her "fix" made things worse. She began backcombing my hair and painting bleach between foils, which caused random splotches of bleach in areas that shouldn’t have been touched. By the end, she toned my hair brown to cover the mistakes, leaving me with frizzy, dull, poop-brown hair — nothing close to what I requested. When I spoke with a manager, I learned she wasn’t even a salon manager and gave me unprofessional, unhelpful advice. Ulta refused to let me go to another location for correction and insisted I pay to return to have it corrected by the same stylist who ruined my hair. For an "elite stylist," this experience was unacceptable. I left with damaged curls, splotchy color, and zero accountability from the salon. I strongly advise anyone considering this location to be cautious and ask for a proper consultation before any service.

Above & Beyond!!! I came in for a Signature haircut & Blowout by Elite stylist Violeta. She was amazing. I asked her for long layers and face framing pieces. She shampooed my hair and did a treatment under the hair dryer. I’m in love with the results😍 if you’re thinking about it JUST DO IT!

Yesterday I went to Ulta Beauty because my boyfriend wanted to gift me a Dyson Airwrap for Valentine’s Day and our anniversary. It was supposed to be such a special moment for us. When we went to pay, both cashiers looked at each other and one of them said out loud, "$700 is a lot of money," in a tone that felt judgmental. Instead of saying something kind like "Happy Valentine’s Day" or congratulating us, they chose to comment on how much he was spending. The way they looked at each other and reacted made it extremely uncomfortable. No customer should ever feel judged for how they choose to spend their money, especially during a meaningful moment. You never know what someone is celebrating, what they’ve worked hard for, or what that purchase represents to them. Please train your staff to be professional and respectful. I came in excited to celebrate something special with my partner, not to feel embarrassed or judged at the register.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but here goes. While store employees here are amazing, their salon leaves so much room for improvement. Having made an appointment days earlier for a consultation for extensions (15 minute consultation) I was informed that they "did not have time for me." I was asked to reschedule a new appointment time. Um, no. Hearing a stylist telling the receptionist (both standing directly in front of me) speak those words was completely unprofessional. Back to Sephora for me for all things skin care after these Christmas gift cards are spent. After reading many 1 ⭐️ reviews, y’all might be better off closing the salon and adding room for more merchandise as 80% of your negative reviews are salon and/or stylist focused.

I had to share the incredible service I received from Kacelyn L. I have African American hair and made the huge mistake of taking my braids down, and waiting to wash the next day. The dead hair began to wrap around the healthy hair and it became matted. It started to break in clumps and panic set in. I called many salons, but being the day after Christmas most were closed. In a last ditch effort I called Ulta and was able to book with Kacelyn L. She first let me know that she could indeed help me, which stopped me thinking I would have to cut all my hair off due to the matting. She patiently worked with my hair for 1 hr. 30 min. all the while letting me know it would be ok, and that my hair would not have to be cut. Kacelyn L. Thank you so much for the kindness, you saved my hair!

I’m very disappointed with the pricing at Ulta. The store is covered with big sale signs, but in reality only the cheap, less popular items are discounted. The products that most people actually buy — the ones that are slightly more expensive — are never included in the sale. I spent over $100 on just three items and received no discount, no promotion, no gift, even though the advertising makes it look like everything is on sale. This feels misleading and unfair to customers. The staff were polite, so this is not about them. My issue is with Ulta’s pricing strategy, which creates the impression of a big sale when the popular items are not discounted at all. Ulta needs to be more transparent and honest with customers.

Briana (Bri) was so accommodating - it was so nice to see such awesome customer service skills still exist in a makeup retail employee! She made my guest experience very comfortable- was patient and listened to my concerns on the product I needed (concealer). After I was done picking out the concealer she helped direct me to the other sections of the store as I had a list of things to get and hadn’t been into the store in a while- she is such an awesome Ulta employee and deserves a raise immediately for her exemplary customer service skills.
