I’ve been going to this salon often on two years the first three times was excellent service. Everything was perfect. But recently when you nail and I guess management came everything is starting to go down with the service here a month ago I came here for a pedicure that was not worth paying for it. Messed up as soon as I put my shoes on didn’t allow me to dry them. completely rush me to pay. on January 13 of 2026 I got a full set and a pedicure when I first told the lady what I wanted she tells me that they don’t have nobody to do nails and they took an hour during pedicure. I was in the shop for three almost 4 hours getting serviced the person I did. My nails rushed a lot. The place was empty, so I didn’t understand why she was rushing nails did not look like anything of the picture that I showed her. very disappointed this is one of my favorite places to go. Now they lost a customer. I will not be returning. A total waste of $163 never again.

Worst manicure experience ever. Mimi filed my nails super roughly and violently causing multiple fingers to bleed. I showed the bleeding to her but she didn’t care. She also forgot to apply the top coat and cuticle, and when I reminded her she was extremely impatient and started filing my nails even more violently. After she applied the top coat, I noticed one of the nails had hair in it, but her eyesight was so bad she couldn’t see it even though it was really apparent. Oh and I’m not going to mention how uneven the paint was applied. At the counter I told the hostess I was very disappointed with the service and she didn’t do anything about, and even blame me for "not telling her first" and should’ve told her my preferred technician instead. How would I know I was getting a clearly untrained, unprofessional, violent technician???? Oh yea, and they still charged me.

Came on a busy Saturday without appt. They were able to accommodate me and not feel rushed. Vivian did an excellent job! Will be back (and book an appt next time).

Pros: Nail Tech was Gentle with her handling especially the with the drill. She was fast and friendly. Cons: I entered with well groomed natural trimmed down nails. No take or drill downs needed. I was charged $70 for short Pink Acrylics with Tips and two coats of clear gel… I thought I seen a different price on the menu ahead of time that was cheaper but I could have seen wrong 😑 all in all I didn’t have a bad experience but I think for these nails are worth $50+tip

Best nail salon in the area, no matter which nail tech you get. But Kathy is phenomenal, she is so detailed and thorough and knows exactly what to do to get the perfect color - if she makes a suggestion please hear her out! If you don’t mind spending a little extra time I highly recommend her, as I have never had cleaner looking nails. She pays attention to the minor details that others don’t when it comes to both a mani and a pedi. She is also fantastic with kids. They were out of the red I originally wanted, but after telling Kathy what I wanted, she found an even more perfect red!

I walked in with clean nails seeking a light pink gel manicure - probably the easiest job possible. If you aren’t capable of doing cuticle trimming and a light pink manicure that has clean lines, you have zero business being in the nail care business. The result was lumpy, jacked up cuticles that might look worse than how I came in, and unclean lines where the gel is all over my cuticles… the nail tech spent more time trying to clean up her mess around the edges of my nails than anything else. $40 for this? Give me a break… Edit: Added photos a few days later showing how the gel that was painted over top of my cuticles (because they weren’t pushed back and trimmed correctly) is now lifting, unsurprising.

I had never been to Modern Nails before and made my appointment the same morning. I had what I call s "nail emergency" and couldn't get to my regular nail tech. My appointment was unplanned and I was on a super tight schedule. Jessica was really patient and understood my needs. Due to no fault of Modern Nails, I had to end my appointment early and return the next day with the same time restriction. Jessica was not in when I arrived so I was introduced to Holly. She was really quick and my nails turned out perfect! The salon was beautiful and the entire staff was so nice made me feel like time was not an issue! I'll definitely be back.
