Great Clips

I came in today for my son to get a trim and basic shape up and the hair stylist just couldnt imagine how to possibly go about it. I didn't have any negative response toward her. If she doesn't know how to cut hair, I have no problem not having her cut my son's hair. I said it's okay and was okay leaving with that. I heard her say if they want to complain to corporate, they can. I didn't say anything for her to have such an attitude. It was a very odd first and last experience.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Kevin for a while now, and he’s hands down the most consistent and detail-oriented barber I’ve had. He actually listens to what you want, remembers how you like it, and makes sure it’s perfect every time. You can tell he takes real pride in his work — quick, friendly, and always professional. On top of that, Kevin’s just a great guy — easy to talk to, and always in a good mood, which makes the whole experience even better. If you go to Great Clips, do yourself a favor and ask for Kevin. You’ll walk out looking (and feeling) sharp every time.

Always a great experience! The App makes checking in and knowing wait time easy. The stylist always knows how I had my hair cut the last time because it is entered into the system. The stylists are all professional and great with creating the style I want. And, the price is so reasonable!

I went to Great Clips – Pentagon City (1101 S Joyce St, Ste. B19, Arlington, VA) on Sept 25, 2025. Manager Kevin Nguyen gave me a great haircut. My hair is tough with several cowlicks, but he handled them perfectly. I’ll definitely be back for the quality and service.

I used to think this place was great when I had Tom do my trims. Today, I went to the first available and had an awful experience. She asked me how much I would like trimmed and I said "as little as possible, like 1/2 an inch" and said "I want to keep my length" and "not more than one inch" and she repeated back to me "you dont want much taken off" and I said yes. She proceeded to make multiple runs at my hair to the point I left there with about 3 inches less length! I didn't realize it until she showed me it with a mirror at the end. I am so devastated. It's hard to grow my hair at my age now. Why do they do that?!

They do good on cutting hair but they leave my hair without wash and still hair particles in my shoulders they should at least blow it or take it away. I been there couple times they should at least know how to cut buzz haircut rather than be based off numbers and pictures in wall I show them picture they can do the same.

Thanh did an amazing job with my haircut! Asked for a medium fade with some room at the top and he worked like an artisan cutting my hair. Fast, friendly and can’t wait to come back!
