Melissa is truly a gem! I have naturally curly hair, and it’s rare to find someone who really understands how to cut it—but Melissa gave me the most beautiful, perfect cut I’ve had in years. She’s not only incredibly skilled, but also so kind and full of the best energy. The entire experience at Abq Beauty was warm, professional, and uplifting. I left feeling confident, refreshed, and truly seen. Highly, highly recommend!

I came here to get a balayage, hair cut was okay but I was left disappointed. With someone with 12 years of experience let me walk out there with this balayage and paid $120 for nothing. Her respond she doesn’t know why my hair didn’t get lighter.

Melissa is amazing!! She's a master at hair and I'm always left feeling confident and beautiful after getting a cut & dye (she even did my wedding hair too). It doesn't hurt that she's so kind & easy to talk with and always offers tea. I feel at ease there. Customer for life!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Brandi and Melissa. I'm experiencing hair loss and my regular stylist is in another state. It progressed to the point I was sure I needed my head shaved. This is, as one can imagine, upsetting. I called around various places for assistance and was getting discouraged as no one responded even just to say they couldn't help. Until I left a message at Abq Beauty. I received a call back within 30 mins from the very kind Melissa and an appointment the same day with Brandi. Brandi evaluated my hair and was able to cut it short and, for now anyway, avoid shaving. This salon is VERY client centered (just see the ladies room photos). Kindness, compassion and expertise merge to provide you a beautiful, superior experience. Parking is on the street at two hour meters that accept coins and cards. Go a bit early to find parking. If you enter Harvard from Central, it's immediately on your right before the apartments. For reference, Smiths is down further.

Melissa has been coloring my hair for about 8 years. She always uses excellent products so it doesn’t damage my hair. She"s always so careful never to cut it too short. She’s amazing! Just love her!

Had a great appointment with Melissa, was easy to schedule. I have thick hair so it’s hard to find a stylist I trust but I’d definitely go back. My hair isn’t easy to work with and she was perfect with it. The salon is cute and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend!
