Kong Dog

Located within the food court of Pentagon City Mall is this Korean Corn Dog chain. Not being very familiar with Korean corn dogs, I enjoyed my selection and will have to try more selections. The K chicken , K ramen and dumplings all looked good as well. Definitely trying each in the future next time running into this chain on my travels.

K-pop, your corn dog! The marketing is heavily influenced on the sensationalism of the Korean music. This food stand serves the traditional Korean dogs with some unique flavors. The fries are OK. Nothing to write home about unfortunately. Did not try the lemonade. They also have a selection of Boba as well as fried chicken, and noodles! A little bit of a random selection. But again… It is focus on this sensationalism and the trend that is popular.

The most terrible coreean corn dog I have ever had. They should sell them as donuts bc they were full of dough. I ate half of it and my belly hurts. Save your money and buy something else. It is not what is supposed to be.

Not really my style but since my 8 year old had been mentioning she wanted a Korean corn dog, I made a special trip and she loved it! My mom loved hers as well.

Perfect place if you want to grab a premium corn dog to go. The beef franks they use are excellent and the bedding is only slightly sweet, not too crunchy and not too chewy and not too mealy. Inside there's a couple places to sit but not much room to eat. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

KongDog’s Korean hotdogs looked attractive, but it tasted mediocre. I ordered a potato hotdog with half mozzarella cheese and half hotdog. Decent sauces had extra charges. It was not cheap, but the size was good. The hotdog was crispy but I thought it would be more flavorful. They also served Korean style ramen, fried chicken wings, and rice cakes.

Very delicious! My husband and I went to get some corn dogs and we ordered the potato corn dog with mozzarella filling and hot Cheetos with half and half filling. The corn dog was really good! The cheese filling was 10/10 and sausage was also 10/10. Also got a free lemonade for tagging Kong dog on my instagram. The passion fruit lemonade was delish👍🏼 Will definitely be back! They’re doing promotion for a free lemonade with a purchase of a corn dog if you tag them on instagram or TikTok so go snatch that!
