If you’ve never been to a Knoxville Ice Bears game, you’re missing one of the best live sports experiences in East Tennessee. From the moment you walk in, the energy is electric. The staff makes you feel welcomed, taken care of, and part of something bigger than just a game. They go out of their way to help fans, keep things organized, and make sure families, kids, and first-timers all have an incredible night. And the players? Absolute class acts. They play hard, they show heart, and they genuinely connect with the crowd. You can tell they care about the fans and the community — whether it’s staying late to meet people, engaging with kids, or just putting everything they’ve got on the ice every single shift. It’s not just hockey — it’s an experience. Loud, exciting, family-friendly, and full of pride for the city. You leave feeling like you were part of the action, not just watching it. Huge respect to the entire organization, from the front office to the bench. They don’t just put on games… they create memories. Knoxville is lucky to have them.
I'll start by saying the hockey was great, we had a wonderful time. Now for my critics it has more to do with the facility than the team A.) I'm not a big fan of the cashless wave sweeping America and this place is one of them parking, ticket purchases, concessions all cashless but what makes me laugh is that they would like your cash tip. That's another thing that makes me want to boycott all these businesses they automatically want a tip for doing their job is it a way for these businesses to have us pay for the employees? Ok I apologize for the rant just think about it though. B.)The walk up to the facility was dark (safety hazard around stairs), the facility seems very old, seating was very tight. Bottom line 4 stars was for team, not facility it is 1 star.
Saw an Ice Bears win! Fun old stadium. Lots of activities for kids. Beer cheese at concession stand. Easy parking.
Black Jacket Symphony was absolutely awesome! Love this venue!
Had a great time! I do wish there were more reflective tape on the steps- we saw someone trip and break their nose due to lack of this.
My family and I have such an awesome time watching and cheering on the Knoxville Ice Bears. It’s affordable and fun! You can’t find a more Affordable fun few hours!
The Knoxville Ice Bears are four-time Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) champions and five-time regular season champions: family-friendly entertainment and a great way to enjoy the sport. Easy into the parking garage. The line of fans moved quickly. #GoKnoxvilleIceBears
