KM2A After school

My older son has been attending KM2A’s after-school program since 2023, and my younger son joined him last year. KM2A provides school pickup and transports the children safely to their center, where they stay until we pick them up in the evening. They both really enjoy the program and we are really glad to have found their services! At the center, the children are given a snack, guided through their homework, and provided with additional worksheets to support their learning. They also receive extra instruction in math and reading. I’ve seen clear progress in both the children's skills! The teachers are excellent and my children truly enjoy going to the center each day. They also enjoy being with the other students in the program and have made friends there. While taekwondo had been part of the after-school program for many years, the program was recently restructured, and taekwondo is now offered through a partner located adjacent to the center. Overall, we’ve had a very positive experience with KM2A and would recommend them!

Great after school program! Super convenient for working parents who want a good strong and safe learning environment for their kids. They come pick up the kids after school in a van and take them to their school location. They offer homework help, snacks and a fun, safe, caring space for kids to learn and play. Our son has been going since kindergarten (he is now in second grade).

My son has been going to KM2A since the summer of 2019. He was one of the first student to go back to KM2A right after they reopened during the pandemic because he really missed Taekwondo. He tells me how much he loves the Taekwondo classes and how funny and friendly (and strict when he needs to be) Master Kim is. The studio is located on the first floor and it is easy for parents to see what they are doing. I always see a good balance of fun, discipline, and learning. In terms of the after-school care, my son tells me that teachers are very friendly and enjoys his time there. They help out with kids' homework if/when they have them. They also provide worksheets if there is no homework to do. Mrs Kim is in charge of the facility. Here's what's amazing about her. She sees you walking from the parking lot and prepares your children to go home. It's pretty clear that she knows every parent and cares about the students. KM2A also offers pickup from various schools in Sunnyvale which makes it very convenient. As long as my son has been there, we never had a single issue with this service. My younger son will be in Kindergarten this fall and he will also be joining his older brother at KM2A. I highly recommend it.

The best martial arts / after school program around. My son attended this program for almost 6 years and received his black belt. Discipline, structure, confidence, and good behavior are some of the few things my some learned from this program. Master Kim, Junior Master Kim, and Mrs. Kim are awesome. We consider them a part of our family. They took good care of my son while I was busy working. We miss them so much. I highly recommend this place.

My sons grades and Taekwondo improved quickly when we came to KM2A a couple months ago. Love the teachers they really care about the kids. They pick up directly from school and make sure homework is complete. It’s also cool to see my seven year old breaking boards! I guess the best part is the boost in his self confidence. I cannot day enough about the care and results:)

Went here a few years ago and got my black belt - I had an amazing time learning from Master Kim and Jr Master Kim and the black belts for the few years I was there. Such a fun, a loving and supportive community, and I also learned some great skills such as discipline, self-control and determination. It was also such a great outlet for me. Bring your kids here!!

My kids have been enrolled in the after-school program for a year now. I found their school transportation very reliable, my kids are always picked up on time without a hitch over the past year. I like the fact that they get to practice martial arts as well. I don't give them 5 stars because my daughter has severe nuts allergies and I don't think they are very careful about this. She has been offered candies, sandwiches and ice cream containing peanut multiple times.
