Kinder Karate Pleasant Hills

My 5 yr old son enjoyed the first class so we brought our 4 yr old daughter. Now we have two young kids in the program, and I couldn't be happier with the progress shown in improved respect & at-home listening skills just within these short fee weeks!

After three trial classes, my 5-year old kiddo is hooked. He already feels part of the group and cannot wait to keep attending weekly to learn more. He’s even teaching us and others what he has already picked up. Kara and Paul are well organized and dedicated, making the process of trying out the program and enrolling a breeze. Their assisting instructors are also fantastic, following Kara’s lead in applying appropriate redirection and creating a fun atmosphere. It’s the perfect combo of karate skills and character building that can transfer outside the karate class. Happy so far with the experience and looking forward to seeing more!

My 5 year old has been interested in karate for a long time and was very excited to get started with Kinder Karate - they did not disappoint! He loves it already and is excited about all he is learning. Seeing the sense of confidence he has in and after class is priceless. Wonderful program! Update: I now have my younger son also involved with Kinder Karate and can’t say enough good things about this program. Both boys love their time at karate and we love the valuable lessons they bring home each week. Highly recommend!

We are thrilled to have found Kinder Karate! My friend's son had gone there for years and loved it. Her husband even started in the adult class. Kinder Karate has the perfect time and location for our needs. We’ve really enjoyed watching our 4 year old son commit and are looking forward to the growth of respect and confidence that is highly focused on within classes.

We’ve had a great experience so far with Kinder Karate. My 3 (almost 4 year old) son LOVES it. The curriculum incorporates physical fitness, discipline and character development. Instructors clearly have experience with young children and are able to teach them at an age appropriate level with gentle redirection as needed. There is frequent and clear communication with the program directors.

I wasn’t sure if this would be something my son could do at 3yrs 8mos old due to attention span. They offer a trial program here which I thought was great and we were able to see that he enjoys it so it holds his attention. Plus he gets to meet and interact with some other kids. I love that they teach about respect, courtesy, help reinforce manners. I also like that they’re not pushy to get you to sign up for anything. The instructors are all kind with a lot of patience. My 6 year old daughter also tried it and enjoyed it. Highly recommend trying it out to see if it’s a good fit for your child.

My 4-year old son has been taking Kinder Karate classes since the beginning of June 2016. Although he is already well-behaved, coordinated, and good at taking direction, he is really honing these skills, making new friends and thoroughly enjoying and looking forward this class every week. He enjoys practicing the new moves he learns and I'm amazed at how much he remembers and retains from each class. This class is only 30 minutes long, and parents are encouraged to stay and watch! Kinder Karate is a great investment that we plan on continuing.
