Kimchi Mart 김치마트 at Fort Lauderdale, FL

This grocery store is a hidden gem for food lovers! It features an impressive Sushi King section with fresh, affordable platters like California rolls and veggie options starting at $5. The seafood counter is top-notch, stocked with fresh salmon fillets, tuna, and even live lobsters in tanks everything looks super fresh. Plus, the aisles are packed with a huge variety of Asian snacks, from Pocky and seaweed chips to nuts and candies. Great for quick grabs or full shopping trips. Highly recommend!

This is the best new establishment in FTL for 2025 in my opinion. We so badly needed a place for high quality yet affordable sushi takeout.. and of course this place is so much more than that. Had my first takeout spring roll from here today. I’m astounded at the value and freshness. Really great job to everyone working in the store. It’s clear the staff is really on top of everything here!

Went on a Wednesday lunchtime not long after this new store was opened. Quite large and full of Asian ingredients. They had a fresh produce department, but not very big. No real butcher department, but meat is layed out in fridges. The fresh fish department was very small and hardly any fresh fish, although this could have been because the store has only just opened, flenty of frozen though. Their Sushi was outstanding, My girlfriends words, who is a Sushi lover. The Korean hot chicken outlet was not yet open, in fact we missed it by one day, so I'm unable to comment. We did to manage order hot Ramen and Kimbaps, which we enjoyed. Overall a store packed with Asian products. Decent parking outside.

New Kimchi Mart location in South Florida. Always enjoy going through the store and looking at the various products — from sweets to produce, freezer snacks, meat and seafood. The selection of sushi is pretty vast here. Free parking thankfully even though it’s close to downtown Fort Lauderdale. My only quip is I wish a lot of items were more affordable as I wanted to get plenty of goods but walked away only with corn dog fries.

Excellent new location! They have tons of snacks, fresh ingredients, soft drinks, and prepared foods. There are some indoor tables and chairs plus two booths selling made to order items. The sushi is really good!

I really like the selection and cleanliness at this store. The sushi is better than any other grocery store sushi. Just a tip, there are two in-store restaurants selling tteokbokki. One of them is slightly cheaper. Don't bother with this one, it's not good at all. Only buy the tteokbokki at BBQ chicken, it's the real deal. Attached are pics of both. The one with the egg is the one from BBQ chicken - so good!

Great market and food court. There are simple and delicious affordable meals for under $10. The chewy and cold noodles soup was refreshing and spicy. The tteokbokki was somewhat lackluster because of overcooked rice cakes, this might have been just for this portion though, thus five stars nevertheless.
