This was my first time at Gong Cha and guess what? I’m really enjoying these three drinks! I was even gifted a bag ready to go when I arrived, which was such a sweet surprise. The seasonal atmosphere is warm, cozy, and so inviting. If you haven’t tried it yet, download the Too Good To Go app and get your surprises too! It’s such a fun way to discover delicious treats. 🎉🧋✨ Overall, a wonderful first visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Gong Cha is such a cozy and chill spot—perfect for hanging out or grabbing a treat. Their boba drinks are super tasty and made fresh. I highly recommend trying the Dirty Brown Sugar or Crème Brûlée Milk Tea—they’re seriously next level. One of my faves is the Passion Fruit Green Tea. It’s made with roasted green tea leaves and has a smooth, full flavor with hints of passion fruit, mango, and guava. So refreshing! Also, don’t leave without trying their soft serve. It’s super creamy and the flavors change every week—think Matcha, Taro, Coconut, Oolong, Chocolate, and more. You can even mix flavors and add Oreos (bottom, middle, or top of your cup or waffle cone). Total game changer—you’ll thank me later!
The drinks and waffles with taro ice cream were great! Shout out to Alyssa for being super super sweet and even gave us some Felix goodies w our order!!! Love you Alyssa!
I confess that I know nothing about bubble tea, flavored tea and coffee drinks or bubble waffles. I drink a lot of high end Chinese and Japanese tea, traditionally prepared. However, I stopped by today to have a beverage and check the place out — ordered a hot lychee oolong (that was quite good). Nicely set up cafe; spacious, natural light and clean. I can see why other reviewers have a good opinion of it. I can see bringing my young grandsons here for bubble tea and their speciality waffles.
I’ve been coming here for a few years, and it is by far my favorite boba place! The quality of the tapioca pearls is better than almost all the other boba I’ve tried in my travels - I’d say it’s on par with the boba that I had in Taiwan earlier this year. The customer service has always been quick and efficient. The interior is so cute and I’ve had many friend meet-ups here! My drink of choice is Pearl Milk Tea, but I love the Coffee Milk Tea as well.
Been to lots of Gong Cha and other brands of tea places but this place prob has one of the worst customer service. Few months ago I was visiting friends in Worcester, I suggested going there after dinner for tea and desserts. While waiting in line, I can clearly see the two groups of customers ahead of us were treated badly and there was a woman who just kept giving customers the side eye. So we ordered egg waffles with ice cream and 4 drinks, the drinks were okay but see picture 1 was the egg waffle we got. It was soggy and so bad looking without ice cream, so I went back and asked about the missing ice cream they said I didn’t specified ice cream (so ordering it and the cashier confirming my order back to me wasn’t specific enough??) so this woman once again gave us the side eye and said "we can put ice cream in it but you gotta pay for ice cream" the unapologetic bad attitude that she had and assumed I was asking for free ice cream. So I said it’s fine don’t worry about it. Walked back to my table and I tasted one little piece of it and it was raw batter inside!!!!! Went back to let them know and they refused to admit it was raw. After few mins of back and forth with them, she finally scoffed and said will make us a new one, the 2nd one wasn’t raw but still look so bad see picture 2. And see picture 3 from Tsaocaa that’s what an egg waffle should look like. Last week my friends went there to get tea again and they were also treated very badly, when they simply just want to confirm their order. They said the staffs were so impatient and made them feel unwelcome.
I go here every day sometimes just to do my school work or sometimes to enjoy tea and maybe a waffle. There are a lot of bubble tea options and the prices are really fair! They also have some merchandise which is really cute and with Felix's ambassadorship you can buy his drinks and recently for his birthday get pins to go with it! It's a really special place in Downtown Worcester in my opinion. The vibe is never sour and you can choose to order directly from a person or from the machine they offer!
