Amazing selection of oddities and funky clothing. Found the perfect Christmas gift here today! I wish the cashier had a little more holiday spirit. He didn't say hello, ask if we needed help, just handed the item to us without a thanks or goodbye. He was the only negative in a super fun, interesting atmosphere.

This place is awesome. The owner has a keen eye for cool, quirky, and rare items. And he's a very kind man. Great location right downtown in Spokane. Please support our local small business! Our only stand against corporate hegemony.

This place is and the owner are problematic. He only offers over priced items. He scrounges the affordable local thrift shops that low income people depend on, just to turn around and mark it up 500%. Dissapointed to see that he tries to brand the store as an inclusive and community based store yet they take from resources their low income neighbors depend on. And he's kind of a jerk if ya run into at one of the thrift shops.

Amazing vinyl and bookshop. Wonderful owners. Can't wait to come back.

Talking with Darcy at FinnBoy, there's a direct lineage between this shop and the Bachelor Pad / Groove Merchants of yesteryear. For those that used to frequent the BP you probably miss it too. I have been shopping at FinnBoy a lot lately because it is easily the best spot to dig for vinyl in Spokane. They have a lot of stuff that you just won't see anywhere else. Plus they have a listening station since you probably won't know what you are looking at and only like 3 people have it on Discogs... I've found some great Latin cuts, New Jack Swing, New Wave, Ambient, Gamelan, Disco, local stuff, tons of world music, new records, budget bins. etc. etc. Really great if you are the adventurous type and have an hour to kill. Prices are right too.
