I purchased a Music Hall Classic turntable from Music to My Ear three years ago and wanted to upgrade the cartridge. Greg did a great job explaining my options and recommending a cartridge that fit with my system (which I purchased from Northern Audio six years ago) and accounted for the fact that most of my albums are from the 60s and 70s and have some wear and tear. I ended up buying a Audio Technica AT-VM740 cartridge and it gave me exactly the enhanced sound I was seeking. I highly recommend Music to My Ear and Northern Audio for all of your audio needs.

I walked into the store with a very minimal amount of knowledge about turntables and setting them up. I wanted to upgrade from my previous setup without breaking my budget. Greg took plenty of time to walk me through a variety of options and even set up equipment to hear what the options sounded like. I am very happy that he walked me through everything because I ended up choosing a turntable and speakers that I can upgrade over time but they sound absolutely amazing right out of the box. The record selection is amazing there as well, and I will certainly be returning to build up my collection. If you are in the market for a turntable or speakers I highly recommend you check this place out!

I decided to get back into vinyl after a long absence. Spoke to Greg on the phone on what I was looking for. Which was essentially a sound system from scratch. I met him on location a few days later. He walked me through everything with explanations of the equipment. Played some music on different systems so I could hear the difference. Even gave me a tour of the store so I knew where the music I was looking for could be found. He didn’t try to oversell me or push anything on me. It was a very professional low pressure consultation. Got the system home and I couldn’t be happier. Everyone at the shop was friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place of business for anyone interested in home audio equipment or music. I was recently looking to upgrade my vinyl setup, and wow…I won’t ever buy anything online again—I’ll just go here. Greg is SO INCREDIBLY knowledgeable about all things audio-related and is very friendly and helpful. They have an awesome new and used record selection that’s always growing, and they have QUALITY gear for any budget at fair prices. I’m glad I don’t live closer because I’d be there every day spending all my money.

I've always loved this place! Got a demo on how to use the Spin Clean Record Cleaner with a very articulate instructor, Lori! Also, the new and improved Hip Hop section is amazing. I was amazed to see some Kurtis Blow on their shelves and some pretty rare Ghostface albums! 10 out of 10 service every time!

I went in to quietly look at an update for my old 1970s stereo. Faith took over and showed me the different bundles, but when it came down to it her and Greg completely educated me on the latest technology in sound. They demonstrated the differences in speakers and helped me to discover exactly what my sound preferences were. Once that was done, they put me together a package that was exactly what I was looking for. Went in to look for an idea and left happy with a calculated stereo system!
