Hot Topic

I visited the Muncie store on 11/25/25 and was greeted by Rachel, who was incredibly friendly and so helpful! Her personality and dedication to customer service made "in person shopping" a great experience. During checkout, I mentioned to Rachel that I never spend my "hot cash" because I lose it and can’t ever find it in my app account, so she told me she was going to call me on my mobile phone when the hot cash promo started so that I could take advantage of using it. To be honest, I had zero expectation that she was actually going to do that, but to my surprise, I received a voicemail on January 20 from Rachel, reminding me to use the hot cash. I tried to place an order for the $120 promo and again, could not find it in the app, so I called the store on 1/29/26 and spoke to Valentine, whom communicated to me that they were the store manager. Valentine provided me excellent customer service and was also incredibly friendly and helpful, so I’m not shocked at all that this team is excelling and providing superior customer service. 5 stars all around…what a hidden gem of exceptional personnel in the Muncie mall; Hot Topic, please train all team members to have this level of quality and follow through!

Stopped by for a couple of pins for a tote bag. Ended up talking with Rachel, about the mall and Muncie and they were absolute delight. Chill atmosphere, nice deals, great time, one of the best Rachels in Indiana.

Really nice guy gave me a coupon while just buying a shirt brought it down to 18$

Go here all the time. One of my favorite stores. Wish you guys had more plus size carried in store. I usually just buy accessories and tees in store and ordering everything else off line. Also why can't I ever get gift cards to work with online purchases? It's your own hottopic gift card.

They always have sales and fun finds here. I wouldn’t recommend their faux nails, but I really like the T-shirt quality. Really wish Hot Topic’s policy was not to have such aggressive store clerks, though - just let me browse in peace and come to you myself if I need help!

Good polite service. There were a few shirts, Zeppelin and Sabbath, that I liked but I had to remind myself I don't need to be buying those right now. I'm not Goth so there isn't a whole lot of other stuff in there that I'm all that interested in. I always look at the band t's. It's a great store if you really like earrings, tongue rings, ect...no piercings on me. I do wear a lot of black though...

I love Hot Topic. It might be full of pop stuff but you can still find really cool things. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I almost always shop at Hot Topic when i go to the mall.
