Hi Way 3 Hardware

I stopped at Hi Way 3 Hardware and got to meet the infamous shop mascot, Hi Way the cat. The store was well stocked and clean and the staff was very friendly and courteous. The Christmas 🎄 shop was absolutely beautiful and if you need a great gift or any holiday decor, you should check it out. They had delicious apple cider and cookies for everyone! I got some Abbott's caramels! Located just down the road from the Muncie Mall Plaza, it is definitely worth checking out.

I stopped by here today in search of a unique light bulb. The woman at the register was very friendly and asked an older gentleman named Jerry if he could assist me. He was standing about 10 ft away from me. Rather than acknowledge her, he looked up at me, saw that I was walking towards him, and proceeded to get on his phone and text away. I stood there long enough to turn around and look at the woman at the front who gave me an apologetic look. When he was finally ready to actually be helpful, he immediately told me that they did not have that light bulb and I asked if we could check anyways just in case. We got to the bulbs, they indeed did not have it, and he told me just to go to a box store to try to find it. When I asked him which one he would recommend, such as Walmart etc, he told me he couldn't help me because he didn't go to those stores. And then he made it obvious he was finished with the conversation. Thankfully, the woman at the front desk was able to point me in the right direction when I asked her in the hopes that I would at least get some kind of assistance. She made the experience a little less crappy. On the other hand, people like Jerry should not be in customer service. Although I've been in there a few times, this will certainly be my last one.

Very helpful. Doing business like business used to be done. Customer friendly

Helpful staff. They didn't have what I needed but ordered it

Nice selection and great people to deal with

You are always greeted by one or more helpful employees who will help with your hardware and outdoor lawn care needs. Fair prices. Nice alternative to big-box stores.

This store is very convenient. I’ve ran back and forth here many times while painting our house. I don’t know that that’s a good thing because I kept forgetting stuff lol but I appreciate their hours and their variety of items they sell! The cat at the counter also brightened my day!!
