Great music shop! The gentleman who helped me was fantastic. After some pre-purchase research on a Cajon drum, I stopped in and made my selection, pressure-free. Great buying experience and great sounding drum! Highly recommend this local shop for your music needs!

Josh a representative came to pick up to my child’s school to return my child’s instrument to the company and MISPLACED it. Now I’m still be charged for it. Desire must think I’m an idiot that can’t read and told me that I’m still responsible for it until the shop receives it ONCE A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE COMPANY picks up the instrument, it is now in THEIR possession, not the lessee. Maybe they need to update their contract and stop assuming people don’t know how to read one. Do not rent for your children if you can’t physically return the instrument

Mike in repair is awesome!! I have brought stuff for him to work on multiple times and I am always extremely satisfied! Recently he changed out a leadpipe on my trumpet for me and it looks fantastic!

Hwy 280 store is totally different and still owe me $35.00 for a guitar tuner. Don't take guitar lessons form Kurt McKinney he owes me $100.00 for guitar lessons he never gave me. Want return my texts and calls. One of the staff members at the Hwy 280 store called me a "cunt". Was treated very unprofessional and still owed 100 from Kurt and 35 from arts. I paid for the tuner with a credit card. I had my receipt and the item and they saw it didn't work. They said I would have to wait for the owner to get back form North Carolina instead of returning it on my card. The Manager was very unprofessional; I talked with Kurt and he said he would talk to the owners Jessica and Paul. They kept my receipt and product. The employee that called me a "cunt" was Danila Reaves and was in shock I never said a curse word and when I asked her if she called me that she said yes with no apologize. I've never been treated so poorly at any store but Arts on Hwy 280. "Stay Away" from this store and Kurt McKinney. Still haven't heard from anyone!!

A GREAT place to go visit prices are outrageous but great quality

Needed to get replacement water key corks for my trumpet. Did while I waited. Even did a good cleaning of my valves to get rid of a gummy sticky feel I had from mixing valve oils. (Didn’t know). Great price and service.

BUYER, BEWARE! TL;DR: Please just know if you buy an instrument from them and need to sell back you will NOT get anything close to a fair price. Longer version: I am so disappointed in how Art's does business with people. There are not many options for purchasing band instruments, and I feel they take advantage of that. Last summer I bought a clarinet from them for more than $900 for my daughter who wanted to give band a try. She did not stay in band long, so the instrument did not get much use. I took the clarinet back to Art's to sell back. I know they have a markup and are in business to make a profit, but I just received a call that their offer to me is $275. I am in shock. I have no idea how to go about selling it in my own to get out of it even half of what I paid. I feel very taken advantage of.
