I had a wonderful experience shopping for a trumpet. I was looking for a professional level trumpet to upgrade from my student level horn that I have had for the past few years. I walked in, and within a couple minutes I was testing out some horns. I felt the gentleman helping me was very helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable. He was also extremely hands off as well, in that he let me play the different horns and figure out what I liked. While listening to me play, he wasn’t trying to sell me on a horn because of his personal biases, more expensive price, etc. I walked out with a beautiful Yamaha horn, that I absolutely love. It plays like a dream! I would definitely recommend this store if you’re in the market for a new instrument.

Refused to honor a sale price: as a recent customer for a fairly high-ticket pair of PA speakers, I received an emailed offer for 15% off of my next order. The only exclusions were previously discounted items and a few other similar things, nothing brand-specific. When I tried to use my 15% off the next day, I was told all Fender gear was excluded--only over the phone, not in writing. The offer is still up on their website, even, but the customer service person just refused to offer it, wouldn't let me speak to her supervisor directly, claimed he'd call me, but then that never happened either. I'm disappointed but more than anything feel like this is disrespectful

I rented a clarinet from Music & Arts for my child during the school year. The rental itself was fine, but the cancellation process is frustratingly outdated and deliberately inconvenient. There's no option to cancel in your online account — you must send a written cancellation notice and then wait on hold (in my case, over an hour) to request a return authorization. It's summer now, and we don’t need the instrument, but I’m stuck jumping through hoops to avoid ongoing charges. This should be a one-click cancellation like any modern rental service. Instead, it feels like they’re making it hard on purpose to keep billing you. Parents, be cautious — and document everything. I won't be using Music & Arts again.

AVOID this store at all costs. I have had an utterly terrible experience. My daughter's rental took nearly two months to arrive and there was zero communication as to the status. Every time I called, they said they would update me and they did not. Billing is also wrong as it started on the wrong date and I have not been able to get it resolved. Additionally, it was missing a piece and when I called to request it - again, weeks of no communication until I called and was told they have no idea where it is. This store is more affordable than the other rental option that we have, but I can't take it anymore. It is worth paying more each month to not have to deal with this horrendous customer service experience.
