Stopped in to check the place out. Mike was awesome! Talked everything music for at least 30 minutes. Great atmosphere and nice collection of records.
Stopped in here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! The Owner is very friendly and really knows his music. The selection is better than I expected, and I left with a really rare test pressing.
We drove all the way here and paid $30 for parking to attend the Twenty One Pilots Breach listening event, but when we got here we were told the owner had said they're "not doing it". They had also left a guy here to run the place on a Saturday night all by himself on his first day. I'll never buy anything from this terribly-run place, and I suggest no one else give them any business either. Would give 0 stars if I could.
This store was a lovely surprise. It is a must stop for any music lover! The memorabilia is one of a kind with all the good nostalgic feels! Affordable, too! The owner was so knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend dropping in!
Went for the Twenty One Pilots listening party for the new album, few minutes before showtime someone asked how it was gonna work and was told it was canceled and told they never were planning on hosting it despite the Twenty One Pilots website saying they were AND Chief Records posting it on instagram. The post has since been deleted.
Awesome Record store and awesome staff. Def a place you and your mom could enjoy picking out vinyls together.
This shop really caters to the kind of tourist who will visit the Stockyards. It's almost all country and classic rock, nearly everything is used, the selection is modest, and the prices are a little on the high side. Plus unless you are clever and/or lucky, you have to pay to park in the Stockyards lots. On the bright side the owner is nice, the atmosphere is uniquely rustic, and they sell beer(!). If you're visiting Fort Worth it's a pretty good option. But if you're a local with more time to invest in record shopping, you might want to try somewhere else.
