It is a fun and energetic store with a lot of personality. They have a wide variety of clothing, accessories, and collectibles for people who love pop culture, anime, music, and alternative fashion. The staff are friendly and the store is always organized and clean. It’s not really my type of store, since my style is a bit different, but I can see why many people love it, it’s colorful, unique, and full of creative items that express individuality. If you’re into graphic tees, band merch, or anime gear, this is definitely the right place for you.

I placed an order online and the store didn't receive it for almost 3 weeks. I also immediately started getting insane amounts of emails, every day, about sales and all kinds of random stuff right after placing that order. Which I did not sign up for! I keep trying to unsubscribe and the emails just keep coming... Beside that, the place is pretty much the same as I remember it being as a teenager, 20 years ago.

I don’t know what the cashier was going through. A breakup, some grievance, just a bad day, but as a former emo kid shopping at Hot Topic I get it. However, the cashier was bleedingly rude. I asked a question about their black friday sales and her response, BARELY looking up from her phone, was "That’s what it says online, right?" Okay, sure. I wanted to double check I didn’t misread, anything, but okay. I guess we can’t ask cashiers about store sales anymore. This was in addition to playing music I quite frankly did not understand. It was mostly marimba and clicking sounds with a man talking softly about how he misses someone. I understand hot topic is weird, but you can make the atmosphere uncomfortable OR be rude and disinterested in guests. Like I said, I understand bad days, but holy crap. This store has been going south for a while and their hiring practices are showing how desperate they are in hiring awful attitudes to keep the door open. Honestly appalled I received that much attitude for trying to double check if a sale was active. I’ll shop online lmfao

rude staff, just checking out seemed like an inconvenience to them. Also I asked the opinion of one of the employees about which jewelry to get because yk i needed a second voice, but all she said was "i have no opinion" without even a glance at what i was talking about. quite the humbling experience

Rude employees and they over charged me and then denied it. The sign says buy one get one for 5$. So why am I paying 10$ for both?? She proceeded to yell at me saying that it just makes sense when the receipt doesnt match the deal that was posted 3 separate times throughout the store.

Sad that last Halloween(2024) I "had my name" on their Halloween Sanrio sign and was told I’d get it and I went back at least every 2-3 weeks to shop and ask about the sign and they’d tell me they haven’t received a new one yet and then they just never contacted me. Also last time I was there the staff was rude and air headed so honestly not surprised.

Very rude when I was asking questions about there jewelry, I would recommend the Loveland branch very nice people and a lot to choose from.
